Las Terrazas Resort

Went with my son and scrolled through reviews to pick the best suited place. I splurged on the penthouse after much deliberation. The picture's had a luxurious tub, private patio with plunge pool and a swim able beach with activities. I splurged at $500 a night and was disappointed. The staff was friendly and food was great but accommodations left much to be desired. The room was dated and will add pictures of bath and patio which we didn’t even use due to uncleanliness. In addition, had to ask for room service after 5 pm when we had left early that morning. The pool was nice but the beach is far from usable. I even asked up front and they informed me they wouldn’t recommend swimming in it. I was very disappointed with the rate I paid vs. value. I don’t usually write reviews but wish someone would have warned me. Their basic room rate may be worth it if you are planning to spend time in the pool.

Pre-arrival: So helpful and quick email response! I had a million questions about excursions, rooms, and how exactly to get to the resort- they were always prompt with their email responses answering all of my questions. They even booked my flight, ferries, and taxis, to get to and from the resort from BZE which was incredibly helpful. They also booked some excursions for us, one that picked us up right from the dock there. Once There: Our trip here was great and the staff was always above and beyond. We had a wheelchair accessibility issue when we arrived and the staff built us a ramp to the room within 20min, incredible. They always said hello with smiles, always offered help/services/etc. The grounds were kept clean and the rooms were beautiful. They gave us a printout of restaurant recommendations and had security monitor all the golf carts which we took back and forth into town and exploring the island. Only Negative: The only negative part of the stay was the slow dinner service at O, verrry 'island time'. But the food was too good, each and every meal.

This was an amazing trip! This resort is farther north but very quiet and private. The beach was well groomed, the staff were accommodating and we even witnessed a beautiful wedding on the beach out front. We stayed in unit 133 which was very spacious and comfortable! We slept so well in the master bed, the AC was great on the hotter days, and we had a washer and dryer in unit. The pool was a hit with all guests. It was big and clean. The pool bar had happy hours everyday with great drinks. There is complimentary kayaks and water sport equipment. We were truly in paradise. Will be planning a trip back in the future.

We were staying in a suite on the top floor of one of the buildings, and it was spectacular, which included our own soaking pool. We spent a lot of time at the resort, so we really got to experience all they had to offer. The main pool was great, and the servers would bring your drinks and food to the pool or the beach. We called ahead and asked them if they could decorate for our friend that was arriving before us as we were celebrating her birthday. When we arrived, they had decorated with balloons, a banner and a cake. It was such a great addition to the accommodations. They had nightly turn down service, and daily cleaning which they replenished our water bottles free of charge (well more like did not charge us extra) The food on property was a little pricey, but overall, very good. We also took advantage of the spa, and the massages were just what we needed after all of the activities we did while staying in Belize.

Really enjoyed our stay here. So serene. The staff were amazing. Always kind and helpful. The beach was so picturesque and we had it to ourselves a lot because people were at the pool. The food was great. Not overly crowded. Would absolutely return. A few tips of warning. Belize is prone to some power outages so we had to experience a little of that … generators work for only certain things …

Beautiful beach entrance! Went on a girls trip April 2024. Spring break. We had a two bedroom suite with full kitchen and living room plunge pool on the terrace. Beware this is on the third floor. No elevators. Thank goodness they carry your bags out for you and down. Room was slightly dated furniture. Pretty worn. View was nice for a courtyard. Staff was friendly enough. A little expensive side. And way out from the center of town. closer towards secret beach. We had a great time there. Didn’t spend much time there since town was a lot of fun. Recommend for families. Overall very quiet and peaceful. Place to stay.

We stayed for 12 days in May 2023 for our elopement wedding and honeymoon. The Resort has a Wedding Planner, she did a fantastic job communicating with us prior to arrival, and arranging everything from the flowers to the most exquisite sunset dinner on the beach. Thank you again Ashley, for the personal service and really excellent response time. We had a fantastic breakfast by the pool every morning. The resort is very private and exclusive, it felt most days like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The personnel are friendly and Management is involved and available when we needed anything. They also make a great effort to keep the beach clean from sea**** that washes up on the shore. If you have ever been on holiday at a beach resort where the sand is just one big, stinking pile of sea****, you will especially appreciate to know that the workers at Las Terrazas toil tirelessly to keep their beach clean. You will need to rent a golf cart to get around to the grocery stores and restaurants. Our unit was huge, almost like a small house, with a big kitchen, a diningroom, big living area, complete with a washer and dryer. The bathtub jacuzzi was massive, probably the biggest I've ever seen in resorts. We cooked most evenings, but there are restaurants in the area (you need a golf cart to get around). Some nights we ate at the Las Terrazas rooftop restaurant, I think it's called 'Starlight' or 'Under the Stars'. Absolutely wonderful food and service. Everything was excellent, I'd give 10 stars if I could. Thank you to everyone who made our stay a fantastic experience.

I travelled with a group of old college friends and we had a great time! The resort is beautiful, clean and updated. The pool is fantastic and the beach is nice. There is also a pier where many water excursion companies will do pickups. Overall a great trip!

This was such an amazing experience! I had a great time with my friends— all the staff was wonderfully nice and were so welcoming and helpful! I would highly reccomend this resort to any of my friends. It was truly a once in a lifetime trip!! Please visit
