Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. Splendid Location Situation a few minutes walk from the train station and the main city area, is this hotel definite one of the most strategic location in Cologne. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. We stayed in the hotel as a family with 7 years old child without any problem. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel so we have no idea about restaurant. Employees are kind and doing their best. Very good location. You can walk all the touristic places. We went to Cologne on December and it was cold. Whenever we felt cold, we turned to hotel for rest in 5-10 minutes. The best christmas market (Heumarkt) is near the hotel and you can use public transport in front of the hotel (if you need). Walk distance to the Dom Cathedral, Love Bridge, Chocolate Museum, Shildergrasse and all the christmas markets.

I stayed for 2 nights on a trip through Europe. The hotel is centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful Cologne Cathedral. What I liked: The great location. The friendly staff. Exceptionally clean. Great Breakfast with lots on offer. Easily accessible. The bed was comfortable. What I didn’t like: The room I was given was tiny with no window. It was so so hot and sadly that affected my sleep. The room had air conditioning but it didn’t work and just circulated hot air. However, the kind man on reception offered me another room, but I was already settled and for such a short stay didn’t want to pack everything up again. Regardless of that, I’d be happy to stay here again and the price I paid was incredibly reasonable, being so close to the centre of the city.

Das Hotel liegt in Köln recht zentral. Auch die Möglichkeit direkt im Hotel zu frühstücken hat wohl den Ausschlag für die Buchung gegeben. Jedoch schon bei der Ankunft zeigte sich das an der Rezeption vor und nach mir es wohl Lautstärkedifferenzen zwischen den Buchungen der anreisenden Gäste und den Verständnis, der nur bedingt deutsch sprechenden Dame an der Rezeption gab. Mein mitreißender Kollege hat er eindeutig Frühstück mit bestellt. Musste dies aber am nächsten Morgen lautstark einfordern. Ich selbst, bin sehr viel in Hotels unterwegs hab es aber extrem selten erlebt, dass das Personal gegenseitig immer wieder lautstark vorgestern um Abläufe, welche eingeübt sein sollten, stritten. Mein Zimmer selbst war abgewohnt und hatte wohl den Flair der 1980 Jahre. Stromkabel einfach an die Wand geklebt, mit der Hoffnung, dass diese sich nicht wieder lösen. Insgesamt würde ich dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen. Was den Grund, dass Mitarbeiter und Gäste sich ständig negativ anschreien.

We had 5 rooms during Orgatec Exhibition. Hotel was new, employees were kind, breakfast was good and in general it was a clean hotel. It is not in city center but really easy to reach Rudofplatz or Heumarkt with 2 Tram Lines and it takes only 5 stops. Also there were some restaurant and supermarkets around for our needs. Therefore we enjoyed our stay in hotel. Only thing which was negative, you need to inform reception each morning for cleaning rooms. Otherwise it was not cleaned. (we are not informed about this during check-in so we learned that after first day) Despite we informed that for each day, second day of our stay 2/5 rooms are not cleaned. Except this, it was all well clean
