"Exceptional Staff and Perfect Location!
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable and enjoyable. From the warm welcome at check-in to helpful tips throughout my stay, everyone was incredibly friendly and professional.
The location couldn't be better — just a short walk to a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, and local shops. It made getting meals, snacks, or anything else I needed super convenient without having to drive. Close to Union Station too!
Highly recommend this hotel for both the service and the unbeatable location!"
"Room was clean. Maid service was prompt and excellent. The Garden Cafe was extremely convenient for breakfast and an early start. The one complaint I have: we called the front desk to ask where the Ice machine was. We were told that they would send ice up to the room. The ice never arrived."
"Good hotel. The location was ideal for us, a walk away from a lot of the tourist attractions. There was a lot of homeless and I wouldnt have liked to have been out late We choose the hotel because of the outdoor pool. We managed to get in it but it is very small (6 people is a squish). Comfy bed. The breakfast was good. There were queues but the signs tell you when the quieter times are - so we were fine. I would stay again"
"The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The beds are very high though for the vertically challenged. The shower was big and had good water pressure. The location was a little farther from the Mall, about a mile. The Uber cost around $12 but the prices vary a lot. We felt safe in the area. The breakfast was ok. When there was omelette it was ok, when scrambled they were terrible. Typical continental food, yogurt, cereal, bacon, potatoes, bagel, toast, muffins, oatmeal. The thing that bothered me was walking past the same trash on the floor for 2 days right in front of elevator. I didn’t pick it up because I wanted to see how long it would be in the same place. Overall I’d stay here again."
"Great location and easy to walk to all important buildings and monuments. Breakfast was really, really good. Only one thing, and I’m not sure if this comes from hotel policy or a policy for the city of DC as a whole. But you pay $100 deposit per day, $5 per day isn’t returned to you, and $30 of it you must spend inside the hotel per day. If you don’t spend $30 a day in hotel, you lose that money. I didn’t like this as it forced me to have dinner at the hotel a few times when, as a tourist, I’d like to eat outside as I’ve heard DC’s food scene is really nice. If this is a city policy my apologies to the hotel but either way travelers will want to know this so I’ll put it here. But my stay was nice."
"I stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holiday, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is excellent — very close to the White House, with plenty of restaurants nearby. What I really appreciated was the daily cleaning service, which was always done thoroughly.
The restaurant on the first floor was also impressive, with food and service comparable to a fine-dining restaurant. Everything about this hotel was perfect the location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff.
If I visit Washington again, I will definitely stay here again."
"”On the first day, I was uncomfortable using the end room, which is far from the elevator, but I had a comfortable time because the room was replaced the next day. The location was quiet and comfortable, but it was a pity that there were not enough convenient facilities around.”"
