"Transport network was partially down in Glasgow so had to take the bus from another bus stop. Shower and toilet area are separate; thus have to take turns to change inside either area. Rooms are clean!
Overall a decent stay!"
"I had a fantastic stay at Clayton Hotel Glasgow. The hotel is modern, spotless, and perfectly located within walking distance of Glasgow Central Station, shopping streets, and many popular attractions. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, making for a very relaxing stay."
"Staff at Moxy were very friendly and helpful with excellent manners. A special mention of Ellie (from Greece) who was most helpful and to the barmen who were great drinks creators and checking food for my tomato allergy.
Our only 'complaint' was we found our room quite hot even with the window open.
A ceiling fan would have been perfect!
Thanks team!"
"We enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay."
"Great location and very helpful staff! They offered free wine and cheese in the evening the night we arrived, which was a lovely and welcome surprise after a long journey. The room is small and the bathroom has glass walls. It was a tight stay with a friend. Provide tea, coffee, an hot chocolate in the room with kettle."
"I stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow SEC on 13 February for a gig over at the OVO Hydro. From the moment I stepped into the hotel I was impressed.
A special mention has to go to Sarah in Reception who made my stay extra special with a drink voucher and upgrade to a corner room which I was delighted about.
The hotel is ideally located for those attending events at the OVO Hydro and SEC venues - it’s literally across the road and a 2-5 minute walk!
The room overlooked both the OVO Hydro and the world-famous crane, a Glasgow icon. It was clean, well-presented and I liked the extra touch of having a hairdryer in-room as well as an ice bucket for bubbles, and the obligatory tea/coffee. The bed was comfortable and I had a rested sleep in it, and the shower works really well.
I will 100% return to this hotel and hopefully will be treated like a well-valued guest again!"
"Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean. Excellent location for Station. Was attending a charity ball & overnight stay. Dinner at ball & service were excellent but the ballroom was freezing all night still didn’t heat up after dancing started. Bedrooms excellent, comfortable & very quiet to be in a city centre. Lovely breakfast too."
