"Very basic but thats what you pay for (or no aptly dont), limited in room facilities no kettle, no hairdryers. It wqs quiet and being above a carpark makes for a handy stop if travelling through. Staff at front desk were freindly but the place is quite rough outside the rooms particularly downstairs is all under renovation and only one lift in service was quite frustrating. If you need cheap this was alright, if you can afford more i would probably not return."
"Very nice hotel in a great location in Glasgow. Visited the Hydro for a show whilst staying and had a very pleasant walk along the river. Breakfast was great, though it does get very busy. Had a great meal at the restaurant and staff were all very friendly. Room was clean, and nicely furnished. Would return here for sure."
"Staff at Moxy were very friendly and helpful with excellent manners. A special mention of Ellie (from Greece) who was most helpful and to the barmen who were great drinks creators and checking food for my tomato allergy.
Our only 'complaint' was we found our room quite hot even with the window open.
A ceiling fan would have been perfect!
Thanks team!"
"We enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay."
"Amazing view of the city! Requested for a high floor and thankfully was given one, front reception was friendly and informative. Location was great! Just few minutes away from the railway station and in the middle of many foods and cafes"
