Victoria Palace Cefalu

Great location, big rooms and very diverse breakfast (although quality could be improved). A kettle with tea and coffee in the room would be needed for a 4* hotel. Staff could also improve their attitude.

The Victoria Palace has a lot of plusses: it is right on the Promenade across from the beach, helpful desk staff, a spacious room, a very usable porch with comfortable chairs, and good wifi. Breakfast on the 3rd floor overlooking beach also good. The minuses are small details which would have helped the room be more functional for a 4 day visit: no luggage racks and no hooks in the bathroom. Overall, a good spot with easy walking to the old part of town, grocery and fruit stores.

We stopped here one night on our roadtrip around Sicily. The room was clean, modern & comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable - omelettes made to order. The hotel is a short walk along the prom to the old town, Cefalu is a beautiful little town. One bit of advise if coming by car is work out prior to arrival how to get in to the carpark. We didn't, missed the turn in & then had to do a big loop round again as a one way system. .

This was the first place I checked out after a short walk from the train station, and I didn't look any further. It is right by the sea and a stone's throw from the old town section of Cefalu. It would have been above my pay grade, but in November my single room was about half the price it would be in summer. (That's why I travel in the low seasons) A very good deal with clean rooms, nice beds, hot shower and good wi-fi. (What else do you need?) It includes a generous breakfast (with eggs if requested!) if you are tired of the Italian style croissant and coffee every day. You have access to a great rooftop with views of the sea, the town, and the sunset. There is also a great gourmet grocery store called Deco a block away where you can get snacks and beer to take to the beach. Lastly, the staff were wonderful and helped with many good suggestions for what to see in Cefalu and advise for traveling in Sicily. Thanks Martina!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Victoria Palace Hotel. We loved having a balcony with the beautiful view of the sea. We did not end up using the swimming pool but noted that someone was out early each morning cleaning around the pool area and making sure it was ready for guests. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. We sought information as well as asked for a taxi to be called a few times. The front desk staff could not have been more accomodating! The private beach we were allowed to use was a short walk away. Our chairs and umbrellas were complementary which was very nice. A beach bar was located on the private beach which also proved to be a nice feature. The hotel was close to many restaurants, some pleasantly situated with seaside seatings. The food was phenomenal and the beach town very beautiful. We were very happy with every aspect of our stay!

This is a lovely walk to this beach bar from the centre. There are many other bars on the way, this one we found to be the smartest, nice furniture, sensational views, clean toilets, topped off with slightly surly service. I know we are in Italy, where service at times can be hit and miss, however so many establishments do it really well. When you take everything into account, this is well worth a visit, I even managed to get her to smile once 👍.

Great location, beautiful hotel, friendly staff, very clean room. Had free parking. Opposite the beach, included sun beds and towels. The hotel had a great restaurant and breakfast was lovely up on the rooftop. Cannot recommended it enough
