อาจน่าทึ่งแต่จัดการไม่ดีมาก! ผมเข้าพัก(ผมยังอยู่ที่นี่ขณะเขียน) 3 วันในการเดินทางไปเที่ยวในอิตาลีกับครอบครัว การบริการก่อนมาทําให้ผมคาดหวังมากกับก่อนเช็คอินและโบรชัวร์กิจกรรมที่น่าทําในขณะที่เราอยู่ที่นี่ เสียดายที่ไม่ใช่สิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นที่นี่มีบางส่วนของประสบการณ์ของผมคือ 1. เราจองห้องพัก พรีเมียร์ 2 ห้อง แต่ไม่มีที่ไหนระบุว่าห้องพักบางห้องอยู่ภายในอาคารศตวรรษที่ 13 และอีกห้องจะอยู่ส่วนขยายนอกประตูหลัก วิวสวย จากรูปที่เห็นในแกลเลอรี่ถ่ายรูปต่างกันอย่างเห็นได้ชัด เลย อย่าลืมถามตอนจอง 2.วันที่เราไปถึงเราตรงไปที่สระว่ายน้ําซึ่งดีมากสําหรับครอบครัวที่มีสภาพแวดล้อมสวยงามแต่เราสั่งน้ํา sparkling ครั้งแรกและได้ขวดพลาสติกที่ไม่มีแก้วหรือน้ําแข็ง าสั่งเบอร์เกอร์มาซึ่งมาถึงไม่มีราดหน้าอย่างสลัดหรือซอสอะไรเลย เราจึงตระหนักว่าเบอร์เกอร์คงเป็นโต๊ะอื่น ไม่สนใจ แค่คิดว่าบริกรพูดภาษาอังกฤษไม่ได้หรือไม่ค่อยมีประสบการณ์ แต่ไม่มีปัญหา เราอยู่วันหยุดเลย จําไว้ว่าเบอร์เกอร์อะไรสักอย่าง 25 ยูโร 3. อาหารเช้า - ที่เป็นฉากที่น่าขันที่สุด หนึ่ง พนักงานเสริฟดูงงๆ เราขอกาแฟหลายครั้ง หลังจาก 20 นาที เราได้รับบริการกาแฟเอสเพรสโซ่แบบเต็มแก้วแทนกาแฟ, หลังจากลองน้ําส้มปลอมจาก”น้ําส้มสด”ที่ถามคือน้ําส้มสดแท้ซึ่งมาถึงท้ายที่ผู้คนถามเราสองครั้งว่าเสร็จแล้วไหมทําให้เราอยากออกเพื่อที่จะเคลียโต๊ะได้ ผลไม้มีให้เลือกน้อยมาก ขนมปัง ให้เลือกกลางๆ มาก และที่บ้าที่สุด ในโรงแรมหรู ถ้าไม่อยากไข่แย่งแบบ commercial ต้องจ่ายไปเอาไข่ออมเล็ต!!! การบริการแย่มาก ตัดสินใจยกเลิกมื้อเย็นของเราที่โรงแรม ไม่อยากให้ย้อนกลับไปประสบการณ์เดิม 4. บริเวณจากุซซี่ปิด 1 ทุ่ม วันนี้เลยว่ายน้ําถึง 6 โมงครึ่ง แต่พอเราพยายามจะถึงจากุซซี่ ก็มีคนบอกมาว่าปิดเพราะไม่มีใครดูแล พรุ่งนี้กลับมาได้คําตอบแบบนั้นล่ะ 5. mini bar & laundry service ราคาก็แค่ ไร้สาระ เดี๋ยวอัพโหลดไว้ที่นี่ทีหลัง แต่จากความทรงจํา ประมาณ 12 euro เป็นชุดชั้นใน 1 อัน ดิฉันไปบ่นที่ front office ตามมาผู้หญิงอีกคนที่ทําแบบเดียวกัน โต๊ะข้างๆ พวกเราตอนอาหารเช้าก็หัวเราะเพราะมันแปลกมาก สิ่งอํานวยความสะดวกก็สุดยอดแต่ในระดับราคานี้ที่คุณคาดหวังการบริการระดับที่แตกต่างกันมาก

This Hotel is fantastic, definitely 5 stars. When your first arrive through the gated entry you are meet by the staff to welcome you , unload your luggage , park your car etc. You just go to the lounge to the very comfortably lounge to check in with a welcome cold drink. Then there is quick tour of the property. The property is just WOW , the property , the views !!. What a feeling when you book something after hours of web searching, review trawling etc and your partner says this ”I cant believe how beautiful this is , look at the views, the building , the landscaping , the pool etc etc. Take a look at the book at reception which has before and after photographs of the hotel redevelopment, you wont believe the transformation, what vision by the owners. We booked direct with the Hotel and selected the 5 senses experience. This turned out to be another great choice, firstly we were upgraded to a beautiful room with separate living area in the main building. This package included dinner in La Colonna (more on that later) we wanted to move this to the next day as we were a bit tired after driving which was done without any issues,; massage at the Well-being Centre at the Clubhouse and a tour of the Winery. All staff were very welcoming and approachable during our 4 day stay. We were fortunate to have great weather and sat around the pool / gardens, just beautiful. Our dinner at La Colonna was one of the best we have ever had. It was a beautiful night therefore dinner was served on the external terrace. Our table for two reserved giving us a uninterrupted view of Tuscan landscape under the full moon . The food and service was exceptional. We are foodies and this was up there with best of our fine dining experiences throughout the world. (I had seen reviews criticizing the food , not sure what they are about must be some other agenda). You must do the winery tour at Vallepiccolla , it is really good experience and well organised. We enjoyed our massages up at the Clubhouse. The shuttle service to Sienna , no longer exists . Not a problem for us as we had our own car., 30-45 mins. Just watch you SatNav give you the best route , we got the scenic route on the way back , down kms of dirt roads. The property is remote , so if you don't have your own car you will need to book private cars through the hotel to go offsite. We noticed that nearly all of the other guests were American, I think about 85% of the guests are international visitors. If you are looking for a special place to stay in Tuscany, we would highly recommend Hotel Le Fontanelle

This hotel is located within walking distance to the little town. The breakfast was good. Now let's discuss the meat of the review, the bad stuff. Our 3 day stay left us wondering if the floor was ever cleaned. I say that because there was the same dead bug next to the bed the entire stay. I requested an iron to use. At first the woman working the front desk said it was illegal in Italy to allow irons in the room. I found this odd because the 2 previous hotels I stayed at just days before gave us irons to use in the room. Very interestingly the front desk staff told us on 2 separate occasions that to use the jacuzzi it would cost 45 euros per person for 90 minutes with a 2 person minimum, so 90 euros minimum. We were certain that our room included this feature as part of our room cost. NOPE! However at checkout a 3rd employee told us that our room indeed include FREE use of the jacuzzi, but failed to offer any compensation. The room itself was old and not all high end. The room lock had actual metal keys and a large brass key fob that seriously weighed a pound. I'm not joking! Parking is horrible at this hotel. You have to park in an area that is lower than the rest of the hotel property in a dirt/gravel lot. They do have 3 parking spots only to be used for check in and check out. These are located across the street from the front office, where most of the rooms are located. However at checkout time, 2 out of the 3 spots were occupied not by guests loading their luggage, but by people working for the hotel. This caused guests to block the narrow street or to haul their luggage down steps across the dirt lot. The workers should NOT be allowed to park there causing the guests to be disrupted. I would not recommend this place to family or fiends. Seriously disappointed!

Bed en Breakfast Fonte dei Tufi is op zich een prima locatie maar het mist warmte, charme en betrokkenheid. Op zich is het een prachtig pand. De kamer met badkamer zijn redelijk, prima ingericht met airconditioning en koelkast. Het ontbijt is goed, vrije keuze wat je graag wilt eten. De bediening (o.a. een van de receptionisten) bij het ontbijt straalde geen vriendelijkheid uit. De receptionisten zijn stug, zeggen niet meer dan het noodzakelijk, nodigen niet uit tot enig contact en kijken alleen naar het beeldscherm van de desktop of telefoon. Wellicht vakantiekrachten? De tuin waar je kunt ontbijten is slecht onderhouden; kapotte meubels, onkruid en rommelig. De tuin nodigt niet uit om 's avonds nog even buiten te zitten. Siena is gemakkelijk te bereiken met de auto en buiten de muren van de stad is voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Kortom. van deze B&B valt qua persoonlijke benadering en onderhoud van de tuin nog e.e.a. te verbeteren. Kamers, ontbijt en schoonmaak was prima.
