ผผู้เข้าพักone of the best hotel I've stayed during my last travels. everything is perfect, from the rooms and garden around the hotel to the food and kindness of the hosts.
+ great location near the Zili Village. close to many villages around that you can visit by foot and many others close using Didi.
+ the people running the hotel are so kind and helpful. they helped us a lot with many advice and information about the places to visit
+ the room was big, clean and with a magnificent view of the village.
+ the breakfast was just delicious, with many choices and great taste.
+ all the small gestures: welcome coffee and fruits, the fruits available 24h for everyone.
bonus : we forgot some clothes at the hotel and they've send them asap by courier to our next hotel. thank you for that !
conclusion: we are clearly coming back here !

ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel feels very new. We travelled as a family. And the hotel upgraded our rooms. Front desk staff was very friendly and supportive. The hotel is located 5 min away from Zilicun and 10 min away from Chikan. We saw diaolou from our windows in the hotel. We came in December, rooms are warm. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Everything inside is very clean. The hotel is located in the very nice place. If you want detox from the big city, this is the place. It was very very quiet at night, and the air was very fresh! Kitchen staff was also very kind to meet our dietary restrictions and changed the meals for us. We have got rested, and would definitely recommend to stay here.

Iing57We booked 3 rooms for a night, and all rooms were spacious and clean! 2 of the rooms that we got were equipped with mini washing machine and this is really convenient for us! The hotel is quite near to the main entrance of Chikan ancient town, and there's 1 convenient store within walking distance.

SSeet-HutterThis hotel is a legacy structure that has been lovingly and beautifully restored and renovated, with an emphasis on retaining the original brick and mortar work and a play on textures and surfaces. The traditional courtyards feature water wheels and koi ponds, iinterspersed by potted palms and ferns, and planters/trellises spilling over with bougainvillea. Al fresco seating is dotted around the verandahs and terraces, making for a pleasant quasi outdoor living concept. The rooms however boast the latest high tech gadgets like smart toilets, engendering a seamless fusion of old and new. Public spaces like the lobby lounge and reception, and even the elevators, also attempt to replicate the elegance of the building's vintage and to recapture the vibes of a bygone era which are the signature notes of Kaiping/Chikan's Western-infused architecture. There is also a small museum documenting the region's turbulent history within the hotel's premises.

VVanAMWe had a wonderful stay at the ChaoQi Hotel. After a smooth check-in, a convenient cart picked us up and brought us directly to our room door. The location is incredible, situated inside the Chikan resort where you can find numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions. A great perk was that our stay included entry tickets, giving us the chance to enjoy many of the resort's lively shows. Our room was super comfortable, impeccably clean, and very family-friendly. Our kids especially loved the indoor playground on the ground floor. The buffet breakfast offered a fantastic variety of options, featuring multiple live stations with both Asian and Western choices. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I return to the Kaiping area.

They were all great and very helpful. Specially STEVE, a great member of the staff who speaks English and who helped me since with all the necessary informations (and translation!) to arrive to Chikan village. He helped me with the taxi driver when I arrived and when I departed. Great member of the staff! I am really thankful to all the help he gave me. Great experience.

ผผู้เข้าพักI selected this hotel because its package specifically featured two live performances held inside Chikan Ancient Town, and indicated that tickets for these shows could be collected at the hotel front desk—implying that the package included special VIP tickets for both events.
However, upon check-in, the receptionist informed me that the hotel does not provide any special tickets for the two shows to its guests. If I wished to secure VIP seating for the fire show, I would need to pay an additional fee at the venue entrance. This constitutes a clear misrepresentation. Had the hotel package not prominently highlighted these two performances and stated that tickets could be picked up at the front desk, I would not have chosen this hotel for my trip.
Although the rooms were clean, comfortable, and quite spacious, the overall service level of the staff was merely average.
