"1. Check-in Process Great, a few minor questions but was very smooth experience and process. Friendly check-in procedure and follow-up. 2. Restaurant Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to have breakfast, but hopefully next time. 3. Rooms Very clean rooms and well prepared. The cleaners did a great job too. 4. Air Con and Amenities in the Room Temperature controlled remote and good basic amenities for stay which is refilled during daily cleaning procedure when asked. 5. Laundry They have a self-service laundry, which is very good and helpful. They even provide small amount of detergents for cleaner clothes. The bonus is also the dryer machine that comes with it. 6. Check-out Very quick and smooth. 7. Location Good location which is near local shopping small if you want to do some small shopping or have a quick bite or tea/coffee break. Feedback / Improvements for attracting more foreigners (Tourists) / Businesses (My opinion) 1. Basic/Simple English in front-desk would be helpful, but not important. 2. Translation on Laundry Instructions (self-service) can be helpful or pre-recorded video to help elderly or first-time visitors the correct procedures. 3. Restaurants to open not only for breakfast but option for different hours (such as afternoon/evening) but for short duration ordering time-period. Even though location is superb for local shopping mall, it would be great to experience afternoon/evening meal in the hotel and/or in-room dining services in the future (if it becomes popular). 4. Ironing board. There is a self service ironing but can be helpful to have an ironing board within the room, especially great experience with washing and drying clothes. However ironing clothes individually requires time and the ironing which is shared in the communal area can be time consuming if it is popular in demand during the time of use. Overall, definitely superb hotel for the price and cleanliness. There is room for improvements but nevertheless, the experience and my stay there was nice."

"I selected this hotel because its package specifically featured two live performances held inside Chikan Ancient Town, and indicated that tickets for these shows could be collected at the hotel front desk—implying that the package included special VIP tickets for both events. However, upon check-in, the receptionist informed me that the hotel does not provide any special tickets for the two shows to its guests. If I wished to secure VIP seating for the fire show, I would need to pay an additional fee at the venue entrance. This constitutes a clear misrepresentation. Had the hotel package not prominently highlighted these two performances and stated that tickets could be picked up at the front desk, I would not have chosen this hotel for my trip. Although the rooms were clean, comfortable, and quite spacious, the overall service level of the staff was merely average."

"Rong'an is located very close to the North gate, and situated next to its sister, Cheng Shen hotel. In fact, the check-in/out is done at Cheng Shen, and the breakfast is also served there. We stayed in the double bed standard room on the 5th floor in No.3 Rong'an building. When we checked in, the front desk staff was very helpful in using English translation app (we don't speak Chinese), and walked with us to the room as the No. 3 building entrance is a bit difficult to find in the back of Cheng Shen building. The room faced the scenic town view with a veranda (photo from the room). The room looked exactly as shown in Trip.com hotel site. Clean and spacious, although a bit dated and simple. The beds were comfortable. Good value for money and a very pleasant stay."

"Nice modern room with comfortable king bed, sofa, wardrobe and kitchenette. Bathroom was clean and fixtures new. Projector TV and wifi are excellent. There’s a big shopping mall across the street and lots of affordable food options downstairs. Also 7-11 right downstairs. I’d recommend the place to anyone."

"Had a great stay here. The location is good and it has a convenience store right downstairs. The hotel staff also helped to book the show tickets for us as we did not have a local number. Breakfast options are great too. Overall had a great stay here!"

"Lovely boutique hotel with amazing rooms in the perfect location. Breakfast is very poor so plan other food and drinks. Service people are extremely sweet, but seemed very challenged and confused by even the most basic requests even when translated. All in all - a simple but wonderful hotel."
