Landgasthof Ralinger Hof

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this property. We were given the entire top floor of one unit that overlooked the river (I booked a 2 bed, private bathroom room). We let them know the ceiling fan was not working and the next time we returned to our room after going off for the day, we found that they had brought us several oscillating fans and placed them in the room which was very appreciated and made the stay enjoyable. We were able to park right in front of our unit, and they had breakfast ready for us every morning. We ate dinner there once as well and it was very good. They will also pack lunches if you request (and pay extra), but we never needed them. There is an Edeka 10 minutes away by car in Irrel (closed on Sundays). The location is perfect for lots of day trips. We visited Vianden, the Devil's Gorge, drove from Bernkastel to Piesport along the Mosel, Eifelpark, Bitburg, Trier, and the Mullertal. The town on the other side of the river also has a lovely park and playground which our family enjoyed...about a 10 minute walk. Vielen Dank!

Above the TOP! This was one of the BEST places we stayed in our whole trip. We had a whole floor suite to ourselves, and I didn't even ask for it! The owner was so nice, and gave us a TON of information about the town. It was so clean and quiet, and the view from our balcony was spectacular. The food in their restaurant was one of the BEST!! Would highly recommend you stay there, we would go again!

Jolly good accommodation! V pleased we chose to stay here … good location and situated overlooking the river. The room was comfortable and the shower room excellent with single lever control. However, the breakfasts were superb and wonderful start to the day. Beautifully presented platter of fresh fruits, cold meats and cheeses, yogurt, eggs and fresh artisan breads. Excellent service and v friendly and obliging team of staff. To be recommended!

The Ralingen Hof is a very small hotel, only 9 rooms on the property. There is limited parking in front of the hotel but there is more parking behind. The view from the terrace is just gorgeous. There is no elevator which is no surprise for a small hotel and there is no ice for guests. Upon arrival, I discovered that somehow only one room was booked, which with a party of 4 adults was an issue. Nicole handled everything and found a room for us at a nearby bed and breakfast. It was equally clean if much more spacious. I never got the name of the place but the host there was very helpful and explained her accommodations to us. She left us a house rules booklet in multiple languages so we could review on our own. Parking was onsite and free also. I’d like to say an extra Thank You! To Nicole at the Landgasthof Ralinger hof for her help and taking such good care of us. Definitely would go back and stay here again.

Hôtel ancien le long de la Sûre (j’avais une chambre avec vue sur l’avant du bâtiment et non sur le fleuve), dans une rue d’un très petit village allemand à proximité de la ville luxembourgeoise d’Echternach et des belles randonnées du Mullerthal. Quelques places de parking devant le bâtiment (occupées par les clients du restaurant) et un petit parking de quelques places dans une rue à l’arrière (malheureusement pas éclairé). La chambre est spacieuse mais le mobilier provient de chez Ikea et pas exceptionnel. La literie n’est pas terrible (matelas mousse bon marché du magasin suédois). Il n’y a pas de rideaux aux fenêtres mais des volets donc obligation de ne plus avoir la lumière du jour ou de l’intimité. Au moment du coucher, quel bruit, le restaurant (pour ma part sa cuisine) se trouve sous les chambres et le bruit qui va avec. Il en est de même pour les murs qui sont très fins et peu isolés phoniquement : j’entendais la conversation téléphonique d’un homme allemand qui se trouvait dans la chambre voisine. Impossible de fermer l’oeil avec ce niveau sonore. Concernant le petit-déjeuner, il est proposé au prix de 11€/personne. Il ne s’agit pas d’un buffet mais de charcuterie et de fromage, un oeuf dur, du café, quelques morceaux de fruits, du jus d’orange et du pain industriel. Il est correct mais dommage que les ingrédients soient imposés. Pour un bref passage hors saison, l’hôtel est bon rapport qualité/prix. Je n’ai pas testé le restaurant (cuisine allemande).

Uitstekend, zeer net hotel en restaurant. Geweldig ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. Wij komen graag nog eens.

Wunderschöner Landgasthof. Sehr herzliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Zimmer waren sehr modern und sauber. Das Essen ein Mix aus traditioneller und moderner Küche war außerordentlich gut. Für Kinder waren vor dem Zimmer Spielsachen, Bücher und auch im Restaurant hätte man eine Auswahl gehabt. Wickeltisch war auch vorhanden. Danke für die Wohlfühlatmosphäre ❤️
