Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa

We had a good enough stay. Globalist recognition was decent with the stated benefits being valuable--- parking, resort fee and breakfast comped. They do not accept suite upgrade certs at this property. We received no upgrade and while we were given a high floor, we did not get a view. Rooms are small, but nicely decorated. Overall, it was a great stay due to its convenience and nice touches like smores and a robust breakfast offering. They also brought a teepee to our room, which was a fun surprise for the kids. They could do a better job with maintaining the property. Often wet towels were just strewn in the hallways (that's also on guests not to be rude). They also need to do a improve small things like ensuring water containers are full, cups are available, and hot chocolate is maintained. For the price of a room, nothing is more frustrating than skiing all day with kids and finding you can't get them a hot chocolate b/c the container is empty or there are no cups (every day we were there it was one of two issues). The Easter Egg hunt was a major disappointment. Kids following a woman with a giant box dropping eggs at 10am. The best resort hunt was at the Ritz Reynolds where they littered the property with eggs overnight and kids woke up to a magical hunt each day over the holiday weekend. That's much better than the cluster that was their hunt in the middle of a prime ski day. I don't know that we would return for the cost in both cash and points.

Our recent stay at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek surpassed all expectations. From the moment we booked, the communication was exceptional, ensuring a seamless experience. Every staff member was dedicated to exceeding our expectations, providing friendly, personal, and attentive service throughout our stay. The warm greetings at valet services and reception, the helpfulness with our family's needs, and the genuine care from the restaurant team made every interaction memorable. This is a true ski-in, ski out property, with a great Ski Valet service! Nothing like finishing your run, and being able to get your ski boots off quickly and have them dry out and ready for the next day. The ski school meets right outside the premises, so great for dropping off little ones if they are in the school. Having stayed here before, our expectations were high, but Park Hyatt Beaver Creek not only met them but surpassed them, becoming our preferred choice in Vail Valley. We eagerly anticipate our next visit and thank the entire team for their dedication to excellence. Can't wait to create more wonderful memories with you!

This hotel has the best location and it’s super convenient to everything. However the (very expensive) rooms are small and with not many amenities. The housekeeping service was great, but the restaurant had a very small menu that never changes so it gets boring quickly.

Property has the best location for beaver creek skiing. It is the closest to ski school and ideal. It is way overpriced as the rooms are average and not comparable to rooms other similar priced property’s in the area like the ritz and four seasons. You are paying for the location which is excellent.

Never again. This has always been our go to in Beaver Creek but if they continue the way they are going, I don’t expect it to survive. Uninformed service people. Rude service people. No housekeeping on several days.

You just can’t beat the location. At the foot of the hill on one side and the village on the other. The staff throughout was excellent. Smiles everywhere. We rented our boards/skis from Gorsuch Ltd right outside the hotel and Dennis was fantastic. He was super knowledgeable and went above and beyond customer service. We ate at several of the restaurants which I reviewed on trip advisor. Bar service at the hotel was really attentive despite being super busy in the afternoon and evening (thanks Erika). As for the guest room? It was a $400/night room (based on decor and amenities) with a $135/night shower head. I was expecting a little better. The location and the friendly customer service throughout made up for it in many ways.

I came here with a friend to play golf while he did mountain biking in August and highly recommend it, the property is beautiful and the service was top notch. We had a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting in our room for us when we arrived. We had room service breakfast each day and the omelet and sourdough bread were both excellent. We also had dinner and the restaurant on the first floor and had great service and food. If you’re a golfer, the Beaver Creek course is a must. Pro tip that uber availability is spotty at best so there’s an app you should download called Village Connect to arrange a free shuttle. We’ll definitely be returning in the winter for ski season!

I and kids were served unclean/uncooked food at 8100. Kids got RAW chicken fingers (battered, raw chicken) and I got a bad anchovy which I paid dearly for the entire night. Partly ruined my ski-cation, for sure. Not what you'd expect from a $150 lunch.

We stayed the first week of March 2024. We arrived at around noon and they were able to check us in right away and as a globalist was given a room upgrade to a mountain view room. The staff was very accommodating and seemed genuinely friendly to me and my family. The first night we were there my 3yr old son had a hard time adjusting to the time difference so we were up at 4 am walking the lobby. He said he was hungry and wanted an orange. The little market they had in the lobby didn't have any but the person working the front desk overheard and said to wait and would see what he could do. He came back with an orange for him. The next day when using the ski valet the people working there were very friendly and talking to my 5 yr old daughter saying how they loved her outfit and asked her name and she loved it. Later that week one of the girls at the ski valet saw my daughter in the hallway and remembered her name and went out of her way to say hi to my daughter, and my wife asked me later how she knew her name. Other people also remembered me and called me by name as well which is a nice touch. Other little touches like providing a hair brush and giving us children's robes and slippers when requested were appreciated. We did have some small issues with the ski valet where they couldn't find my boots and skis at first but it was no big deal as they eventually found them after a few min and the s'mores and hot chocolate everyday made up for that! The hard product may not be up to Park Hyatt standards (I hear they will do renovations to the rooms this year) the service definitely was and you can't beat the location. Ski school is right out the back door which makes getting everyone ready so much less stressful. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was great as well, with lots of different selections and the fresh squeezed OJ was great. Overall I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are lucky enough to get a chance.
