Days Inn by Wyndham Baton Rouge Airport

Lovely staff. A lot of misfits as guest. Pool looked like a club at dark.

It was a comfortable place to stay overnight. Everything was so clean. It was easy to find the hotel.

Me & my handicap daughter were traveling to Baton Rouge for her surgery the next morning. Upon arriving at 7:30pm, there were 8 men hanging out in the parking lot, we had to walk through them to get to front door. Entering the hotel, the front desk lady said something and I thought she was talking to me, so I said “what was that ma’am?” She continued to stare at me as if I was bothering her or interrupting her. I could hear a man talking but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The front desk lady NEVER greeted me in anyway but continued to stare at me and then started talking. I then realized she was on speaker phone with her husband/boyfriend. STILL no welcome in or greeting just complete unprofessionalism. I had to talk to first and all the while she’s checking me in, she is steadily having a conversation with the man on the phone. Lobby to me, smelled like urine. Entering our room smelled very musty. AC barely worked. There was no vanity with the sink, it was a big inconvenience walking back & fourth to table to get ready for bed & in the morning because there was no where for me to put my toiletry bag in the bathroom. The guests staying above us where stomping & running around very late into the evening. I did go back and speak to the unprofessional front desk lady to ask for a cup because none were provided in the room and she looked at me like she didn’t know what a cup was. I just said NeverMind & grab one next to the coffee machine. 1/10 would NOT recommend!

The deadbolt in my daughter's room didn't work. It took a little convincing to get the desk clerk to move her to another room. In our room, the shower rod was broken so the curtain kept falling down. Every time I plugged in my curling iron, it would flip the gfi in the bathroom, so none of the plugs in the bathrrom were usable. And while my husband was waiting at the desk to talk to the clerk, a lady walked up to say her toilet wasnt working. The clerk said "so it is clogged?" To which she replied "No. It literally isn't working and we just checked in." Obviously, the place has a maintenancw issue.

The property smelled good and was clean. I didn’t like my room wasn’t clean and had fresh towels. I had to go down stairs to get them Final night of the stay we awakened around 5:30 am from a false fire alarm. We Checked out early.

My daughters attends southern do this property was close to her school I would imagine the price hike was because it was homecoming weekend because that room definitely wasn’t worth the cost, floors need to be clean and the second day the shower didn’t work

Floor was sticky, hair in the bathroom sink, soap scum in the shower soap dish, bath towels were damp! Truly disappointing!!! I’ve stayed here several times and with each stay it’s going downhill

Room had a terrible musky smell and felt very humid. They definitely have a moisture problem. No frills and clean enough to lay your head down for a night and then get out of there.

Basically everything lies fine except when I checked in there was food and stuff in the refrigerator which makes me think they didn’t do a good job of cleaning around. What did you come in rectified when I called
