Simple resort tucked away in the north eastern corner of batam. Takes 40+min by taxi to reach batam city if you want. They no longer offer shuttle bus to city. They do not allow food delivery(grabfood) so your only options for food is their own restaurants. Staff are friendly enough, though you quickly realise that everything comes at a cost(small bucket of ice is IDR25000!) Rooms are clean and simply decorated, not sure if it's intentional but my room did not have a mini fridge? Couples beware, bed types are first come first serve, we got a room with 2 single beds that could not be pushed together(you can get creative and sleep on the floor like our neighbours) Privacy is OK, but the outdoor patio is visible to your next door neighbours. Toilet choked on the first morning, their staff came by within 15mins to clear it. Food in all the restaurants were generally ok. Not amazing, not bad. Shuttle bus back to the ferry terminal on checkout was organised and timely. Overall, it was a smidge over 'ok'

Batam View Beach Resort was recently refurbished, so hallways and rooms have an updated look with dark wood hues giving it a bit of modernness. The building has also been given a fresh cost of white paint, giving it a fresh feeling. The gaudy light signboard no longer adorns the main entrance. Despite the updates, the property occasionally exudes tiredness: the signage at the entrance is really dated and when we first saw it, we had some apprehension on how the experience would be (think wildness school camping). But our fears were unfounded as the entered the property: it was clean and modern enough for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink. It was a refreshing welcoming from the warm weather outside. The chairs in the restaurant were tired and the chairs were sunken a little uncomfortable to sit. It would have been if they could be updated for a more comfortable experience. Now on to the food, we had lunch, breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Lunch was pretty standard but nothing to shout about. There was rice, soup, noodle and other sides, fruits and desserts that while palatable, again were nothing to rave about. During lunch, the only weird encounter I had was with the chocolate jelly; chocolate does not do well in a jelly. Breakfast was buffet style. The staff at the entrance will ask for your room number before being let in for breakfast. It was a fuss free experience. The buffet breakfast had typical fare such as rice, noodles, porridge, bread, cereal and an egg station with the usual fare you see at breakfast. There’s a kelong within the property which serves up pretty decent seafood if you want something nearby and do not want to travel out. For dinner, as it was a team event, they set the area near the pool to be an open space buffet for dinner with a stage for the activities. While the experience was good and fun (food again was average), I cannot imagine the noise pollution for the other guests staying on the property. The party went on to the night at about 10pm, and I spotted a couple of guests coming out of their rooms to see what was happening. So, if you are staying here for leisure, something to take note of. They have a little pet / animal corner which I wanted to check out but had not time to do so We had a room on the second floor. The hallway was brightly lit and due to the recent refurbishment, it was a pleasant environment. Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a clean room with 2 beds. There was ample of space to hang clothes and a luggage space for 2 medium luggage. The closet was open, basically just a pole above the luggage space with about 6 hangers provided. Housekeeping was good, but not excellent as there a strand of long hair in one of the pillow cases, and there was a little bit of dust on the shelves. We stayed as a family of 3 for 2 nights. The room was clean and neat. Check in was fast and hassle free. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location of the villa is good, walking distance to nearby seafood restaurant. Distance to shopping malls is not too far too as you can easily get a Gojek there. It is around 6km to BCS mall and A2 food court. One down side I feel was the lack of variety for the breakfast, it would be good if there is buffet spread. The music from the neighbouring cafe/pub was pretty loud till which could disturb guests who may be there to chill n relax. It didn't bother me very much probably I was tired out so slept pretty well. Overall a pleasant experience staying in this resort. Highly recommended for couples who wish to have a romantic getaway.

พัก 2 คืนที่ one @komplek baloi ทําเลดีใกล้ห้างสรรพสินค้า 2 แห่ง (ห้างBCS และห้าง Grand Batam) ด้านนอกโรงแรมมีร้านอาหารมากมาย บางร้านเป็น tent outdoor และยังมีศูนย์อาหารกลางแจ้งด้วย สถานที่นวดแถวโรงแรมนี้ก็มีเยอะ ร้านสะดวกซื้อก็มีอยู่ฝั่งตรงข้าม โรงแรมค่อนข้างใหม่แต่ผ้าปูที่นอนเหลืองไปหน่อยและเห็นคราบตรงมุม พอขอเปลี่ยนผ้าปูที่นอนในวันรุ่งขึ้น(โดยเอาบัตรมา) ก็ไม่ทําเพราะเห็นคราบเดิมที่จุดเดิม มาเช็คอินบ่ายสองแต่ห้องยังไม่พร้อมเลยรอที่ล็อบบี้ ไม่มีผ้าเช็ดมือให้ โทรไปทําความสะอาดก็ให้แค่ผ้าเช็ดหน้า อาหารเช้ากระจายค่อนข้างดีแต่รสชาติกลางๆ เค้าให้เช็กเอาท์ช้าตอนบ่ายโมง

Travelling with 2 children my wife didn’t know what to expect driving up Nongsa resort, but what an oasis. The marina is a sight to behold, literally on your door step, the pool is a lagoon type that stretches over 25 metres and the views across the ocean was breathless. The staff were amazing especially those working in the restaurant. Our accommodation was a chalet, 2 bedroom across 2 levels. It was very clean, if a little worn, but it contained all amenities to allow you to be self sufficient. We would recommend getting some items to stock the pantry if you need to as the nearest mart is a few clicks away. Though there was a mini mart on site. The buffet breakfast was amazing with a strong selection of local favourites. We cannot recommend Nongsa Marina Resort highly enough. Value for money and definitely coming back.

Stayed between 12 - 14 Dec 2022. The hotel is about 5 mins walk away from Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. There are 2 Circle K across the hotel and the stretch of seaside restaurants (Wey Wey, Alco) is about 2 mins away. Nearest supermarket, Go Go Supermart is located approximately 5 mins walk away from the hotel, located beside Swiss-Bell Hotel and underneath the defunct Harbour Bay Mall. Hotel's Front Desk is friendly and able to communicate in English. I was asked to consider upgrading my room at a special price (~S$9) as the room I booked was small. I agreed since the offer was much larger and came with a balcony. Regrettably, my room was only ready at about 3.30pm, 30mins after the check-in time at 3pm. My Room (207) is in a slightly run down condition with uneven floor tiles, cracks and paint peeling on the walls, water ponding at the toilet drain outlet next to the toilet bowl. The cleanliness is bad too with stains on the covers of the bed, pillows, blanket. The furniture surfaces in the room and balcony were dusty. Water pressure in the shower was adequate but the hot water only lasted for about 5 mins. Bath towels were unavailable during check in and only available at 4pm according to Housekeeping. I left for dinner at around 5pm and the towels weren't delivered yet. Thankfully, they were there when I came back. The view on my balcony was partially obstructed by the hotel's signboard as it is located directly above the hotel's arrival lobby. The corridor was dark most of the time with only lights at both ends. During my stay, I've only encountered the lights for the whole corridor switched around 7pm only on one evening. Breakfast is provided Sweet Corner Restaurant at Level 1 of the hotel between 7am to 11am. The food was simple with options of rice, noodles, porridge, white bread with condiments. Style of the staples and complimenting dishes varies daily. Eggs can be ordered from the staff. Choices available were Sunny Side Up, Soft Boiled, Omelette. The options for beverages were tea, coffee, and orange juice made from highly watered down concentrated syrup. I also have 2 of my lunches there; once while waiting for check-in and once before check-out. Staff were not eager to serve though but still gets your order right. Waiting time for my lunch to be served was about 10 mins. Located at Level 1 is also Alamanda Spa & Massage, which offers various types of massages and spa treatments. They have a beautiful section on the rooftop of the hotel but it could be only used for the higher tiered packages as I was always led to the rooms at Level 1 twice for my Tradition Full Body and Totok Wajah massages. Grab can pick up at the hotel. Please note that Grab are not able to pick up passengers at the Ferry Terminal and some Hotels and Shopping Malls. You might have to walk a distance away from these locations to board. Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall and Batam City Square Mall (BCM) have dedicated Grab Points at the Pintu Timur (East Entrance)
