My stay at Paripadi Studio in Bali was nothing short of enchanting. From the moment I stepped foot into this tropical paradise, I was captivated by its beauty and tranquility. The studio's location is superb, nestled amidst lush greenery and just a short stroll away from pristine beaches. The attention to detail in the design and decor of the studio is impeccable, creating an inviting and cozy ambiance. The private pool was a true highlight, offering refreshing dips and moments of pure relaxation under the Bali sun. The hospitality extended by the staff was exceptional. They were always ready to assist with a warm smile and made sure every aspect of my stay was perfect. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local attractions, or preparing delicious meals, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident. Paripadi Studio provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Waking up to the sounds of nature, enjoying a cup of coffee on the terrace, and taking in the breathtaking views of Bali's landscape will forever be etched in my memory.

My best friend of 20 years and I recently went on our first ever girls trip (we are now both 40) and booked our first 3 nights at Sun Island Hotel and Spa Legian. Upon arrival we were both delighted with the architecture and presentation of the hotel, both clean and modern, yet still authentically Bali and traditional. Check in was a breeze, and every staff member we encountered was not only friendly and helpful, but genuinely cheerful. It says a lot about a place when ALL the staff are that happy all the time! Particular mention goes to the Restaurant manager who welcomed us warmly by name every morning with the most beautiful smile and upmost of care. We stayed on the ground floor in a twin share room, which was spotlessly clean, with fantastic aircon. It had a small balcony big enough for one person to stand on to vape, and the absence of any cigarette smoke on the premises was a DELIGHT. The pool areas (there are 2) are truly spectacular! We stayed away from the rooftop as we are both sun sensitive and it is better suited to sun worshippers working on their tan. The 4th floor pool bar suited us perfectly, with plenty of shaded areas for relaxing on sun lounges. Yes, the decking is in need of maintenance, but from what I understand works are set to replace the decking starting June. I can't wait to return to see the upgrade. Although the pool bars were not permanently staffed throughout our stay, a quick call using the bar phone, had whatever we required delivered quickly to us with no issue at all. It was actually such a luxury to have that pool area to ourselves most of the time. The view from the 4th floor Infinity pool is pretty special, and I thoroughly enjoyed living my best mermaid life splashing about. Breakfast every morning was basic, but delicious, consisting of fresh cooked eggs to order, alongside a buffet of noodles, rice, fruit and pastries. Food service was consistently great every morning. At the end of our 3 night stay we were both so sad to leave as the location of the hotel is absolutey PERFECT. Close enough to be walking distance to all the action and nightlife, we felt completely safe at all times, yet far enough away to be silent of a night time when we needed to sleep (in super comfy beds mind you). After a hiccup at our next hotel within a couple of hours of arriving,that we both couldn't look past, we made the decision to check out and return to Sun Island. To our delight, not only were we welcomed back with literal open arms, we were offered the same rate we had been paying (was an early bird rate when we booked and this was now a weekend) but put straight back into our freshly cleaned original room. Above and beyond doesn't even come close to the service we received. A small issue with the aircon was attended to as soon as we made mention of it and the remainder of our stay just felt like home. We both can't WAIT to return to Sun Island Legian on our next Bali adventure!

our stay at Mega Boutique, room 502, was actually more than fine. the room we stayed in was clean and the staff was quite responsive. however, after we checked out on January 8 in the morning, we realized at night, that our 2 packages of frozen food were left in the fridge in room 502. I called the hotel immediately ... it was picked up by the employee who asked me to give time to check housekeeping . 5 minutes later we called back only to get an answer that they didn't find our frozen food in the fridge. we knew to have put it exactly in the fridge. however, miraculously, abracadabra... hocus pocus... the food disappeared without a trace. it's a shame, our stay experience was quite good, but leaving an unpleasant impression on the lost & found hotel service. hope the hotel management pays a close attention in their housekeeping team integrity.
