I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&J Tioman Dive Resort on Tioman Island, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, it was clear why B&J has built such a strong reputation among divers and travelers alike. One of the first things that impressed me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and spotless throughout my stay. Housekeeping standards were consistently high, making it easy to relax after a day of diving and exploration. The resort grounds were also kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that reflected the professionalism of the entire team. What truly made the experience special, however, was the people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was assistance at the reception, advice on local activities, or help with dive logistics, the team always greeted guests with a smile. The dive instructors and divemasters deserve particular praise. They were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Tioman’s underwater world. Their enthusiasm was infectious and helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere both above and below the surface. As a diver, I greatly appreciated the balance that B&J strikes between enjoyment and safety. Every dive was well-organized and professionally conducted. Safety briefings were thorough, equipment checks were carried out carefully, and the dive guides remained attentive throughout the dives. Despite maintaining high safety standards, the team ensured that the dives remained enjoyable and memorable. Their familiarity with local dive sites allowed us to maximize our underwater experience while feeling secure at all times. It is reassuring to dive with professionals who clearly prioritize guest safety without compromising the fun and excitement of exploring the reefs. Another highlight of staying at B&J was the abundance of delicious food available nearby. The resort’s location provides easy access to a variety of eateries offering local Malaysian dishes, fresh seafood, Western options, and refreshing drinks. After a day spent underwater, it was wonderful to have so many excellent dining choices within walking distance. The combination of great diving and great food made every day on the island something to look forward to. Overall, my stay at B&J Tioman Dive Resort was outstanding. The clean accommodation, warm and friendly staff, professional dive team, strong safety culture, and excellent food options combined to create an unforgettable holiday experience. I would not hesitate to recommend B&J to anyone visiting Tioman Island, whether they are experienced divers, new divers, or simply looking for a relaxing island getaway. Thank you to the entire B&J team for making my trip so enjoyable, and I look forward to returning again in the future.

tempat amat bagus, cuma katil tidak berapa kuat, bilik air terlalu kecil hingga sukar utk keluar, pintu bilik air tercabut. tetapi pekerja tiptop sangat baik sopan dan cepat ambil tindakan.

Petit coin de paradis…personnel très agréable et réactif. Nous y avons passé 4 nuits en famille. Le chalet est un peu vétuste mais fait l’affaire pour quelques nuits. Endroit très intimiste avec peu de personne donc parfait pour quelques jours au calme. Le village le plus proche est à 20 minutes à pieds en passant par la plage ou 15 minutes en passant par la jungle. À faire si on souhaite manger ailleurs qu’à l’hôtel. La nourriture est bonne mais au bout de 2 jours on fait le tour de la carte. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel et cet endroit pour une totale déconnexion de quelques jours.

Everything was great except communication which was practically non existent. We had a lot of trouble trying to contact the owners and decided to just give up in the end. The accommodation was located at a short walk (750m) from the Tekek Jetty. There are sign along the road that points to the accommodation. Everything there was great especially the local cats who kept greeting us. There was even a pair of kitties(orange - male and white - female) that kept making out in front of our room 😂 during our stay there. Do keep a lookout for them if you are staying here 😏. The photo of the beaches is exactly the view we saw in front of the accommodation.

Excellent emplacement, les chalets ainsi que le jardin sont très bien entretenus. Vous croiserez souvent des singes, des varans et des chauves souris pour ceux qui aiment la nature sauvage, parfois même au bas de votre chalet ou je suis tombé nez a nez avec un énorme varan un soir. Tout est accesible a pied sachant que le village de Juara n'est situé que sur une bande de 2km de long grand maximum. Il y a plein de restaurants et de boutiques à moins de 5 minutes à pied du Juara Beach resort. Nous n'avons jamais mangé au restaurant du resort pour la simple raison qu'il etait fermé à chaque fois que nous souhaitions nous y rendre. A prendre en compte aussi que les restaurants tenus par les locaux nlontbpas d'horaires fixe malgré les indications Google donc je conseille plutôt de manger dans les restaurants des resorts qui eux respectent les horaires. Je tiens a signaler que la plage de Juara est infestée de méduses venimeuses et particulièrement celles en face du resort sa prolongation à l'extrême nord de la plage Ma fille a été piquée au bras en nageant en eau très peu profonde. Je déconseille de se baigner au moment de la marée basse entre 15h00 et 18h00, le matin pas de soucis nous n'avons jamais vu de méduses.

Wij verbleven in een kamer voor vier. De kamer was ruim genoeg, maar de muren zijn zo dun dat je letterlijk alles hoort van je buren. De omgeving is zeer charmant, de kamers zijn zeer basic maar dat is ok. Alleen wel jammer dat je voor dezelfde kamer het dubbele betaalt omdat je er met vier in ligt ipv twee. Algemeen is de eigenaar te zeer gericht op het geld dat hij kan verdienen, en dat probeert hij ook totaal niet te verbloemen. Voor alles moet je bijbetalen: de wasmachine gebruiken, handdoeken voor op het strand.. Het personeel lijkt niet vriendelijk, misschien vooral doordat ze geen Engels spreken. Maar ze steken ook geen enkele energie in non-verbale vriendelijkheid. Het ontbijt is ok, wel zeer basic en voor een langer verblijf vooral monotoon. Wij hebben wel genoten van ons verblijf, in de eerste plaats door de prachtige omgeving.
