Excellent location and only about 3 minutes walk away from the Old town area.
This hotel is very new and the rooms are spacious (for Europe standards) and very clean/modern.
They have a nice bar area downstairs and the breakfast buffet is excellent as well.
Its right on the waterfront so you get some great views of Split.
There is also underground parking at a reasonable price per night.
A lovely stay in Briig hotel. A perfect location by a local beach with easy access to the port and town in under ten minutes by foot.
Very spacious rooms with a super comfy XL bed and updated designer toiletries in the bathroom along with the amazing shower.
A small but functional rooftop pool and sun deck and lovely garden to have breakfast and drinks.
As a designer hotel it might be even better if it were adult only…but I appreciate that is highly subjective.
Small little hotel with perfect location right at the esplanade of Split. Plenty of restaurants and shops downstairs. Breakfast is very simple and small serve in size and may not be enough for normal adults
This hotel is fantastic. Other than being right in the heart of the old town, a few metres away from anything you need, it is quiet, classy and clean. What makes it stand out though are the staff. We'd made an error - that could have ended terribly for us as a family on the last day of our holiday - and turned up in desperate need of some human thoughtfulness, and they were utterly brilliant. Calmly, they sorted our problem without asking any questions or making us feel awkward. The professionalism and standard of service is the best I have received in any 4 star hotel in Europe in a long, long time. Other than it being a great location, lovely brekkie etc, it is its staff that make the hotel so great.
Well what can I say about these so called luxury rooms. Although they are located in one of the main streets they are difficult to find. The rooms are on the third level and I’m sorry to say as the old building is heritage listed there are no lifts and to climb the stairs in summer is a task, especially with out air conditioning. The hotel staff help to carry your luggage up the three flights of stairs The rooms are clean and tidy but nothing to rave about . If you book to include breakfast this is provided at a nearby restaurant. Many retail shops and restaurants are also nearby. Location of the accommodation in the middle of the town is a bonus
This is a very small hotel in the basement of a building ( rather difficult to find at first) but it's within minutes of the centre of Split and very near the ferries for connection to other islands. ( However the signage at the ferry terminal isn't great and we were glad that we set off - on foot - at 8am for the 9am ferry.) The air con is a relief from the heat outside, and Juliya on the desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. She told us how to walk to the nearest beach which was great - I had a lovely swim there and jumped off the harbour wall into the sea which was fun. She also told us where to eat and drink and her recommendations were spot on. The room was very clean and modern. Definitely recommended.
The hotel is new and modern, with comfortable, very quiet rooms, and a fantastic spa area. They have 3 types of saunas, a hot tub, and a pool where you can order drinks. We walked to the palace and waterfront downtown and we drove easily to Split's mall from Time. The staff is amazing!! I like being in hotels near the fun town activities, but without the business and noise. This hotel was perfect. Next time we come to Split, I will be staying here!!
ผผู้เข้าพักThe apartment building is in the old town just opposite the Silver Gate and harbors different owners. La Porta is on the 4th floor (no Lift), 78 steps up. Parking is not that easy, but the extremely friendly and helpful Tony waited for us at a nearby parking area (15 euros per day) and brought us up to the apartment in a little electric vehicle. The room is nicely decorated, new and modern. There is a fridge and a water cooker. Two separate beds and a table. It is very quiet.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe stayed for a week in early October, and had a great time. First of all, the reception staff were really good - friendly, helpful, seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing, and if they could help etc. Excellent. We were on floor 3 (room 2) which meant we had a great view over the roofs with the sea in the distance. The balcony was small but big enough for a couple of seats and a table, and it had the sun from dawn until dusk. The room itself was nice - really large bed, and as it was a fairly big room, plenty of space for two people to walk around and not get in each others way! Fridge and safe were both included at no extra charge. Breakfast was nice - plenty to fill us up and serving until 11am meant there was no rush. Location wise, we found it ideal. Being in the old city would be nice, but this is only a short walk away (20 mins?) and could be either along the beach (paved path the whole way) or was a simple straight road down through the town. We did get a few Ubers which cost 5.50 each way. We're happy as long as we're in easy reach of the action. The beaches are a 5-10 minutes walk - depending on your preference for sand/pebbles/rocks, you can just walk along the path until you find a spot you like as there's a bit of everything. Shops and bars along the seafront too, so that's good if you need anything. The swimming pool area was quiet and relaxing - plenty of sun during the day, and although the pool itself was cold, it was really nice once you're in! Although it's only a few minutes walk to quite lively shops/cafes/bars, the hotel was just off a quiet street and felt really calm considering how close everything was. Overall we were really pleased with our choice, no complaints at all (we did have a noisy air con unit outside on the wall, but this was sorted the same day as we mentioned it - again, great work from the staff!) If we find ourselves in Split again, then I would be more than happy to stay here!
