|1.75km กม.จากตัวเมืองWe arrived Hotel Le Biarritz in the middle of the night, desperate to get a room for the night for 2 adults and 3 kids, due to our originally booked apartment hotel next door gave us cardkeys that were not activated upon arrival. The reception was closed and the telephone number in case of ”emergency” was turned off after midnight. We were warmly welcomed by a very nice man, unfortunately I do not remember his name. We got 2 rooms with a very good discount and the 3rd room for free. The children were hungry, so we asked if we could buy some snacks. He offered us pancakes. He went to the kitchen and came out with a trey full of pancakes, yoghurts, and 3 different sorts of cakes and water. He also asked if we wanted breakfast in the morning, but we were not sure we would make it in time, so he told us we can have the breakfast for free. We also had access to the pool the day after. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try it. Our rooms were small, but nice and clean. (I see from the pictures on their website that they have bigger rooms with balcony). In the morning we got breakfast while the kids were still sleeping. We then got a little basket we could bring to the room with full of croissants for the kids. If it wasn't for the already paid apartment hotel, we would have stayed in hotel Le Biarritz for the rest of our stay in Biarritz. We have never ever experienced such a nice welcoming and service in any other hotel we have stayed at before and strongly recommend this hotel for the service and location. It is located near the beach, 5 min walk. 10 min walk to the grocery store and other nice restaurant. The bus stop is also located right outside the hotel. You can also walk all the way to the city on a sidewalk right by the beach. We would definitively one back to hotel Le Biarritz.

|1.07km กม.จากตัวเมืองWe stayed in mid September, choosing this hotel from reading reviews, its quiet location and outside pool. Reception staff were all excellent, very friendly and helpful with suggestions and answers to our holiday questions. The hotel building is a stunning art deco design with a spectacular huge central atrium containing many sofas and tables, a bar area that leads into the restaurant area. We sat outside for breakfast ( weather permitting !) and the breakfast quality and varied selection of hot and cold food was superb. The golf room was lovely with views of the near-by golf course with countryside views in the distance. The room was a good size with an excellent bathroom, 2 basins, separate toilet,( + large flat walk-in shower). Lots of storage for clothes, a safe and fridge. Many room options in this hotel- the front facing sea- view rooms are brilliant for example. A large outside pool sunbathing area is an advantage for this hotel. The luxurious sun beds are the most comfortable we’ve used. The hotel location as reviews mention is at the top end of a very long hill from the centre. It takes about 10-15 minutes. 2 walking options; one is to walk along the main road path all the way or secondly to walk down the path for about 5 minutes then take one of the steep wide steps on the right of the main path down to the beach/ promenade and continue walking on a wide flat beach promenade all the way to the centre. ( one note - there is an area near the Hotel du Palais when the promenade goes under the hotel and where the waves come up to this path and the sea does make this part wet when the tide is high and sea is rough). The walk back uphill is a slow hard walk along the main road path or again use the flat promenade then take the steep steps up to the main road path again where you walk for the last 5 minutes to the hotel. The locals mostly cycle using electric bikes - you know why after walking around! There is an excellent free bus (N11) that stops outside the hotel and goes directly into the centre ( the return bus stop is outside too). It’s perfect except that it doesn’t run very late in evening. Getting the local taxis in Biarritz is near impossible - not many and they don’t always turn-up. Also they’ve resisted other competition from Uber etc ( even less of these & again not reliable) so that is a major negative for us in this town. We used the excellent buses and train services ( e.g. direct bus to Bayonne & train to Saint Jean de Luz) . The uphill location could be difficult for some people but the quiet location and the hotel facilities and proximity to the lovely walk to the lighthouse area close by are advantages to smaller central hotels. A luxury hotel with excellent staff. Highly recommended.

Literie très confortable!

Petit-déjeuner délicieux avec un choix très varié de sucré et salé faits maison.
Lieu paisible qui invite à la détente. Livres et jeux à disposition.
On a envie d’y retourner !

|1km กม.จากตัวเมืองThe hotel is beautiful and service was excellent until I left… About 10 minutes later, I received a call from a lady ACCUSING me, (not asking), of taking two bottles of shampoo from the room. The lady told me those were not meant to be taken, and the hotel sells them for 90 euros. I was furious but I just told her that I would be back because that was not true!! I did, and I told the receptionist that I was looking for an apology from the lady that made the accusation. She asked me if I did take those bottles…???? I replied, OF COURSE NOT!! I do not have the need and specially it does not make any sense after staying in such a nice hotel. I also described her exactly each one of the items in the bathroom and that I found bizarre they did not supply shampoo and conditioner, anyway, I always carry mine. She replied…well, if you say so, then we apology…. She left me with the feeling of not believing me. So sad, they should be looking to their employees, not the guests. I would have given a 5 star rate but not after such a bad experience.

Coming from North America we always arrive in Europe in the morning, fairly tired after an overnight flight(s). Our experience is that it is the hotels that insist on making you wait until precisely check in time that invariably have problems with their rooms - this was no exception, after we were kept hanging around until 3:30 the room we were shown had a broken balcony door that wouldn't latch -ie blows open in the substantial wind. We were then taken to a smaller room with working door latch. The room was tiny, the safe on the floor, making access very difficult and the the smallest shower I have ever seen , bending over, turning around impossible, and I am not particularly large. The view from the small balcony was spectacular - not sure if it outweighed all the deficiencies of the room.

Indica un máximo 8 personas y 630 kg. Subimos 8 personas con menos de 630 kg. El ascensor no tiene sensor de sobrepeso. El ascensor se detuvo entre dos pisos. Tampoco tiene el mecanismo, habitual en España, que permita en caso de averia bajar a la planta inmediata inferior, abrir las puertas y salir a los ocupantes. Llamamos al teléfono de asistencia: Nadie contesta. Sale una grabación!. Llamamos a la alarma: Un empleado de mantenimiento (menos mal que eran las 17 h. porque en caso contrario no acudiria nadie) nos dijo que llamaba al técnico y que él no estaba habilitado para hacer nada!. Que esperaramos media hora. No habia cobertura telefónica en el interior tampoco. Estuvimos una hora esperando 8 personas como ”sardinas en lata” la llegada del deseado tecnico. Ante la tardanza e incerteza, decidimos salir por nuestros propios medios después de convencer al empleado que nos facilitara una escalera para salir forzando las puertas. Ninguna disculpa, satisfacción ni comentario por parte de los responsables del centro, que era lo mínimo deseable después del incidente . Me pregunto que hubiera pasado si esto hubiera sucedido pasadas las 19 h. cuando el centro se queda sin atención y el telefono de emergencia es una grabacion. Según se nos dijo no era la primera vez que esto sucedía, por lo que deberian revisar los protocolos de ese servicio, actualizar los mecanismos de la instalación y cambiar el servicio de asistencia OTIS. El resto de la estancia, adecuada.

NESPRESSO machine was giving water instead of coffee and I let lovely person ( they’re ALL lovely so expect that as one of best things to happen on a trip ) and it was evening. Following afternoon come back to room and tthere is a new one there and they had filled it with water. I wasn’t expecting that. I only asked if they can check it etc. And cleaning personnel are so polite. They all greet you and wish you a good day. We lost a card ( long story ) and I asked one of them about it: we searched together and could not find it. We come back to room later and it was there!!!!! She found it ! They go over and above. In Dining room also. You know a hotel is managed well with service and people such as this. They were all awesome and I would not hesitate to stay here over and over.

|2.38km กม.จากตัวเมืองUn escapade avec une grande déception. Tout d'abord nous arrivons à l'hôtel, on nous assigne une chambre qui n'a pas été préparer et nettoyer. Les erreurs ça arrive, mais bon, ce n'est pas comme si la personne à l'accueil était dans le rush. Lorsque nous sommes retournés à l'accueil pour le signaler, la personne nous à changer la carte en nous indiquant l'emplacement de la nouvelle chambre, sans aucune excuse ou geste. Je trouve cela extrêmement limite pour un hotel de cette envergure. Bien sur, sans pass sanitaire, impossible de manger au restaurant, dommage quand le cuisinier à la cuisine direct sur la salle et qu'il ne porte aucun masque, ce n'est pas normal. Ensuite, suite à une urgence, nous avons du partir avant la date prévue de départ, et donc nous avons dormi qu'un soir a l'hotel, qui celui-ci à refuser de nous remboursé la 2e nuit. Au final, nous avons dormi qu'une nuit, payé 2 nuits, était traiter n'importe comment, pour une qualité vraiment basse. Très déçu, souvent en déplacement, nous ne choisirons plus Campanile.
