The whole of our stay was of a very good standard. The hotel is in the heart of the old town and at a perfect distance from places to visit. The staff is charming entirely at your service and even makes as much effort as they can in your native language to satisfy you. The notoriety of the establishment is not usurped, and we enjoyed a moment of comfort and service up to our expectations.... But.... Two things urgently deserve to be improved: the menu of the restaurant is not worthy of a 4 star: food too greasy, too ordinnaire ... And the lack of soundproofing of the sea view windows is bad for a perfect night. I would allow myself a secondary remark, from a decorative point of view, the atmosphere of the place sometimes lacks coherence ... But this hotel is a pleasure for good holidays in this beautiful city.

Be careful. This hotel is making false advertising. We chose a standard room that included breakfast and upon our arrival we were told breakfast was not included. We showed what we paid for but the manager refused to adjust the service. Moreover, the rooms are very dirty, especially the bathrooms, with hairs everywhere, towels not cleaned. Our stay was non-refundable so we stayed for 3 nights. Despite the cleaning service provided we would always come back to dirty sheets and towels. I would never recommend this hotel. Very poor customer service and very dirty. Plus, wifi wasn’t working. Faites attention. Cet hôtel fait de la publicité mensongère. Nous avons choisi une chambre standard qui incluait le petit-déjeuner et à notre arrivée, on nous a dit que le petit-déjeuner n'était pas inclus. Nous avons montré ce pour quoi nous avons payé mais la manager a refusé d'ajuster le service. De plus, les chambres sont très sales, surtout les salles de bains, avec des cheveux et poils partout, des serviettes non nettoyées. Notre séjour n'étant pas remboursable, nous sommes restés 3 nuits. Malgré le service de nettoyage fourni, nous revenions toujours à notre chambre avec des draps et des serviettes sales. Je ne recommanderais jamais cet hôtel. Très mauvais service client et très sale. De plus, le wifi ne fonctionnait pas.

Hotel is located on the other side of Pharos University, and right next to a mosque. Keep that in mind if you are sound sensitive because of the early morning muezzin singing. The area itself is ugly and not worth anything for tourists. The hotel has a fairly good lobby; staff very friendly and competent. Several elevators. My room was very spacious and equipped with everything I needed, incl. a fridge, coffee-tea maker, Bed was pleasant; I got a good night's sleep. Breakfast is included, which is typical Egyptian, with warm food (grilled veggies, refried beans, boiled eggs, goat cheese, a variety of breads, small danish, and some fruit. Outside, a cook prepares you an omelette, very nice. Wifi worked well in the hotel throughout. Clean hotel, a big plus for Egypt. Bathroom was roomy, with a shower. I would return there, if I had something to do in that area. It seems to be frequented by young local sport teams, but there was no noticeable noise from the inside.

Be careful. This hotel is making false advertising. We chose a standard room that included breakfast and upon our arrival we were told breakfast was not included. We showed what we paid for but the manager refused to adjust the service. Moreover, the rooms are very dirty, especially the bathrooms, with hairs everywhere, towels not cleaned. Our stay was non-refundable so we stayed for 3 nights. Despite the cleaning service provided we would always come back to dirty sheets and towels. I would never recommend this hotel. Very poor customer service and very dirty. Plus, wifi wasn’t working. Faites attention. Cet hôtel fait de la publicité mensongère. Malgré le service de nettoyage fourni, nous revenions toujours à notre chambre avec des draps et des serviettes sales. Je ne recommanderais jamais cet hôtel. Très mauvais service client et très sale. De plus, le wifi ne fonctionnait pas.
