The highlight was the very professional in-house guide, Tiziano Murgia, who was available to guests in the evenings for advice on routes to walk, activities and transport solutions. He was experienced, friendly and caring. I spent my days following his tips on where to trek in the mountains of Val Ferret and above Courmayeur, with Tiz responding to me on WhatsApp if ever I sent a message asking for clarification. I had a spectacular time following his directions, including on a satellite GPS app ‘Suunto’ that he suggested that I download. My stay at Le Massif could not have been happier or more complete and I largely thank Tiz for that. I recommend this hotel in beautiful Courmayeur.

Management must do a good job selecting and training staff, because everyone we encountered was attentive, professional, but also comfortable to interact with. Great breakfasts and lovely view from the room. We appreciated the hotels flexibility rescheduling our stay from Covid-year-one. We write this review five months after our stay, but, I believe that the card in the room with the hotel manager's contact info, actually included her mobile phone number.

|0.42km กม.จากตัวเมืองWe had a great long weekend with my wife there. The hotel is perfectly located, a few meters away from the pedestrian city center, and offers outdoor parking. The hotel staff (reception-desk, breakfast-room, shuttle-service) has been extremely helpful, kind and professional throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, and very clean, while the breakfast included a nice variety, was delicious, with lots of local quality products. The daily morning-news copy offered at our breakfast table and the shuttle-bus taking us straight at the central ski lift station were two highlights we will definitely remember. We plan to visit Courmayeur stay again here!

Also the window curtain was sheer and on the first floor anyone walking by or at the restaurant next door could see in if the light is in. Restaurant was very good! They had a very large breakfast also. Staff was mostly pleasant but hit and miss.

Hotel location very comfortable, and the shuttle to nearby attractions saved us a lot of time. The rooms with the mountains view were clean, large enough, and modern. The hotel overall is very modern. Breakfast served every morning in the dining room facing the remarkable Mont Blanc view. Anything you had in mind, was served in Breakfast. The Staff is very helpful, for any inquiry or help needed. Would like to specify front desk reps, Ms. Greta and Christian for their service oriented attitude. BR, Haim.

|0.04km กม.จากตัวเมืองWe booked at short notice after other choices had sold out and having seen some pretty negative reviews and a lack of recent reviews, we were a little apprehensive, but this is a lovely little, family-run hotel that represents excellent value for money. The décor is fairly dated, but very well maintained and I personally loved looking at the mid-century art and furniture. It has standard, ski-style rooms. Compact, but clean and have everything you need. Beds are comfortable, with extra pillows/blankets in the wardrobe if needed. Location is a 10 minute walk from the town, with a hotel mini bus shutting guests to the lifts and bus station if requested each morning and afternoon. It doesn’t run all day long which some reviews have complained about, but if you’re planning to go to and from your hotel all day long and want your hotel to facilitate that for you – spend more. The view from the hotel on a morning is lovely and you get the sun late afternoon/evening so you can sit and have a relaxing drink. Food was great. The continental breakfast buffet has lots of options to fill you up, with a self-service coffee machine for cappuccino, latte, americano etc – coffee was really tasty. Evening meals are a salad buffet and 4 courses which you choose from each evening. The pasta course alone could fill you up. All was very tasty. The bar isn’t as good as other hotels we’ve been to. Lots of spirit choices but no draft beer and guests didn’t seem to be using it much which was a shame. There is no real boot room, which was a little peculiar. Instead, just a space under the stairs to leave your skis/boards and a bench to pop your boots on. There were no rules about not taking boots to rooms though, so we just popped our boots on upstairs before getting the mini bus. That obviously means no boot-warmers to dry them out overnight, but there’s no lack of heating, so sticking them near the radiators overnight sorted them out. Staff are polite and friendly and work hard. The owner/manager comes across a bit grumpy sometimes, but hes actually fine. Just plain-speaking rather than OTT gushy/welcoming. The ladies at breakfast and dinner and all other staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, this was a great option that pleasantly surprised us and you really can’t go wrong for the price!

Oltre alla straordinaria pulizia, alla comodità delle stanze provviste di ogni cosa necessaria a rilassarsi (doccia, asciugacapelli, tv e scrivania) devo elogiare soprattutto la gentilezza e la disponibilità dell'intero staff e della direttrice. Il mio check-out, previsto per le 10:30 è stato posticipato di un'ora per via di una chiamata di lavoro e il receptionist è stato così gentile da farmi fare la chiamata nella tranquillità della stanza. Inoltre, lo staff mi ha permesso di trattenermi in reception mentre attendevo che il mio ragazzo tornasse a Courmayeur, cosa non scontata dato che per le condizioni meteo ha fatto svariate ore di ritardo. L'hotel è poco distante dal centro di Courmayeur, che è perfettamente raggiungibile a piedi. Nei dintorni della struttura è anche presente un buon ristorante, raggiungibile con una passeggiata di un paio di minuti. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo sicuramente per la nostra prossima vacanza a Courmayeur!
