I chose to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had positive reviews by Trip members and it had an outdoor swimming pool. It was also great value for money for solo travellers. I arrived early than expected at check in and staff were ready to greet me! Wonderful reception staff! The hotel was bigger than expected and the reception area was very modern and clean with nicely decorated interior. I was shown to my room which was on the second floor. I stayed in a single persons room 205. It was bigger than expected with a big bathroom. There were extras like a bath, comfy chairs to chill. I had a fridge, kettle and a full size mirror. I like a full size mirror. The room also had air conditioning which was very good and very quiet. I had a view of the front of the hotel from my window that was pleasant. My room smelled very pleasant and was a non smoking room. My bed was very comfortable for my back. Breakfast was a buffet with a lot of Uzbekistan food which I had never tried before. It was a very busy breakfast area. There was a big range of different foods including fruits and cheeses. I liked the spinach parcels they were very tasty. A lot of the food was homemade. I thought it was delicious. There are a range of buses that offer great service to solo travellers arriving on the train. I caught a Marshuktra from the train station number 378. The Marshuktra dropped me at the bus stop on the road for No 1 bus that stops right outside the hotel. You can also take bus 7/33 All very easy and cheaper than a taxi. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because it has a very nice swimming pool that I used in the afternoon after a long morning sight seeing. I would highly recommend visiting Sitorai Mohi Hosa which is a short distance from the hotel and you can take bus 7/33 or walk. It’s an amazing visit if you are interested in art, culture and architecture. The hotel is very convenient for solo travellers who are a bit too old for Hostels! And like a cold swim after a long day sightseeing without breaking the piggy bank! The first pictures are of my hotel room and the front on the hotel. Rooms were big and clean. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was alright too! No complaints. They have a gym with some outdated workout equipment, not amazing but it’ll be enough to keep you going. Location is around 15-20 mins walk to the old town. But there is a coffee shop nearby and other restaurants not too far away.

Хороший отель, расположен довольно удачно, до центра можно и пешком дойти, но проще на такси, оно дешёвое и работает приложение Яндексгоу. Завтраки не очень понравились. Персонал вежливый и говорит на русском. В первый день вода в открытом бассейне была 33 градуса, было классно, потом вода стала холодной и пользоваться им стало невозможно. Сауну и хамам нужно просить включить за час, иначе будет холодная. Накануне отъезда во время уборки исчезли из шкафа отельные халаты, мы не поняли зачем вообще было лезть в шкаф и зачем забирать оттуда халаты,которые лежали аккуратно сложенными на полке и видно что ими не пользовались? Заметили случайно, так как собирались в спа и хотели использовать. Заявили на ресепшн, чтобы с нас потом их не потребовали. Персонал на стойке регистрации предложил трансфер до станции, но его цена зашкаливает. Создалось впечатление, что они так подрабатывают на туристах.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located, with many of Bukhara’s main attractions within walking distance. Everything is brand new, and I would highly recommend this hotel. I visit Bukhara at least twice a year, and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in the city so far. The hotel had only been open for about a week during my stay, so I believe some minor issues are simply because the staff are still getting used to the systems and procedures. For example, my reservation showed that the payment had already been made, but at checkout I was told that the payment had not yet appeared in their account. I had to wait for around 5–10 minutes while they checked the situation, but eventually everything was sorted out and I was able to leave without any problem. Considering how new the hotel is, I completely understand these minor issues. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again.

Мы прибыли в этот отель 4 марта вечером нас встретили в отеле отлично,более того нам подняли уровень комнаты за это отдельное спасибо. В номере все очень чисто и аккуратно нет лишних запахов уровень соответствует цене. Ребята в ресепшене отзывались на все отзывы и помогали во всем. Думаю этот отель один из лучших в городе Бухаре. Советую все путешественникам.

Location-wise, the hotel is not in the city center, but that’s not a big issue in Bukhara, the city is small and a taxi ride of around 10–15 minutes gets you anywhere. However, there is a construction site right next to the hotel. Work starts early in the morning, if you’re planning a trip anytime soon, I would not recommend staying here due to the noise . And the breakfast is quite disappointing. Most importantly, the hygiene standard was concerning. The toilet paper provided in our room appeared to be visibly stained.
