This Hotel went over and beyond to provide us with an excellent service. Marco at the reception helped us in finding things we needed online and to be delivered at our room...in less than one hour! We had a minor issue with the toilet but Marco made someone to fix it in 5 minutes. Also, a driver was made available to bring us to the train station, all this thanks to Marco who organized this for us. We recommend this Hotel 100% if you are staying in Xining. Thanks to Marco and the staff of the Holiday Inn Express Xining Railway Station.
What a surprise. I cancelled two other bookings to choose this hotel. And you should do the same. This hotel will meet all your needs for visiting Xining. I can see that this hotel gets top marks for customer service. Location, facilities, very clean, all 5 out of 5. The breakfast buffet serves healthy food, there were not a lot of items, but it's on a quality scale. Xining is a beautiful city and so are their local citizens. Top attractions the temple and the wildlife zoo, are not to be missed. Because there is a big variance of 20 degrees from day to night, the hotel room does get hot in the afternoon, that is the nature of the northwest of China. Hotel will provide a fan to cool down the room.. I will be back to Xining and this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the new district near Wanda Square, offering beautiful night views. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The separate dry and wet bathroom areas were especially convenient and thoughtfully designed.
The nightly snacks were both heartwarming and satisfying, and the breakfast was exceptional with a great variety of choices.
We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Xining.

The manager personally picked us up at the airport, and we were able to get into the car without any waiting time at all. He was incredibly kind, and we communicated smoothly using a mobile translator.
Since we arrived at the hotel around 10:00 PM, the manager was very thoughtful, even asking if we wanted to order food delivery for dinner. We felt a deep sense of hospitality and warmth. We stayed in a twin room on the 16th floor; the view of the mountains from the window was beautiful, and the room was so clean that my wife and I could truly relax.
Because this hotel puts its guests first, we decided to extend our stay for an additional two nights. Thank you so much for everything!

ホテルに着いてからも夜10時だったので、フードデリバリーを呼び晩御飯を食べるかなど、とても気を使って頂き、ホスピタリティが凄くとても温かさを感じました。部屋は16階の2つベッドのある部屋を選んだのですが、窓から見える山も美しく、部屋もキレイでとても妻とゆっくり過ごせました。ゲストを第一に考えて下さるホテルなので、追加で2泊することにしました。ありがとうございました!

Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment.
