This hotel may not be a luxury five-star property, but for its category, it’s definitely one of the better places to stay. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and all the appliances were working properly, which made the stay comfortable and hassle-free. The location is also very convenient since it’s just walking distance to Pryce Tower and nearby establishments. One thing to note is that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so if your room is on the upper floors, expect a bit of exercise. They also don’t serve full meals, but they do provide free coffee and bread at the lobby. Luckily, there are plenty of restaurants and food spots nearby, so finding something to eat is very easy.

Room is cleaned every day. Toiletries and bottled water replenished daily. Bfast is satisfactory. Rooftop resto is a plus. Staff - very friendly and helpful. There is no microwave to heat food. You can’t bring pomelo to your room due to sanitary policies. Lobby is under renovation but it’s ok.

Ideal for families who just want to relax and stay in the heart of Davao City. Near major malls and beside the hotel is the ppark and durian museum. They booked us in the 3rd floor which is very accessible for kids to dive into the pool. Our breakfast was great, we encountered a minor incident but the kitchen manager handled it very well. We will definitely book again soon. The price deal was good also. Thank you, Apo View!

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Sogo overall, and I would like to share my experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room was tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities worked properly throughout my stay. I also appreciated the staff, who were polite, accommodating, and always ready to assist whenever I had questions or needed help. Their professionalism made me feel welcome and added to the positive experience. One thing I found a little difficult was locating the elevator. Since it is somewhat hidden, it took me a while to find it, especially as a first-time guest. It would be very helpful if the hotel could install more visible directional signs or provide clearer guidance upon check-in so guests can easily locate the elevator without confusion. Aside from that minor concern, everything else was excellent. The hotel provided a comfortable and relaxing environment, and I was satisfied with the quality of service I received. The cleanliness, affordability, and convenience made my stay enjoyable. Overall, I would rate my experience 8 out of 10. With a few improvements to the elevator signage, I believe the guest experience would be even better. Thank you to the entire Hotel Sogo team for your hospitality. For the 3rd time booking in Dusit Thani to celebrate a bday, We bought foods and small lechon to be consumed inside our room, but this time around they asked us a corkage of p5,000 for lechon, i told them that we will consume the food inside d room not in the restaurant but insisted us to pay the corkage fee. I read their room policy, only DURIAN food is not allowed to carry, other than that we assumed its ok, because it was not our 1st time to bring lechon. Asking for a corkage fee but did not even give a receipt.

We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

The Location of hotel is ok . The hotel itself could do with Room upgrades. Like bed / sheets , bathroom shower & also shower body wash & shampoo was not provided ! There was no bottle water in the room which was disappointing. Staff were very friendly & willing to help .

The staffs are very accommodating. The place is aesthetically beautiful.

The location is very convenient for me going to the airport, only thing I am disappointed a little bit the shower isn't working 😁 I collected water in a bucket for shower and for brushing teeth 😅. The Electric Kettle won't work either 😔. I hope the staff will check it properly(room 18) . The rest I'm happy for the service. I invited my aunt and my cousin in my room just to get some stuff and they went after I'm glad staff are not so strict. This my my 2nd stay in that hotel next trip I'm still want to book and stay

Great location over looking people’s park nice place to sit and watch the world go by subject to rain of course. Hotel staff pleasant and obliging. Rooms dated bed (2 singles room ) poor,  linen clean but mattress old and sheets didn’t fit the mattress Towels threadbare shower was cold Overall not the best  experience and wouldn’t stay again
