Room was small, albeit kind of standard by Nordic standards.
Location was great and walkable to main attractions
We arrive early, so have to leave the luggage at the hotel until the room is available - Left luggage service was a bit wierd as the luggage room is self-serviced and one had to sign a disclaimer for loss to be able to use it. They do provide a FOC cable with lock for you to use, but they didnt specify as such at the beginning so I had to queue up again for reception to get one after being in the luggage room - could have shown some iniative to offer it when we requested to use the room - not good customer experience.
ผผู้เข้าพักEtt hem was part of the reason that we came to Stockholm!! We were very excited to come stay here as we have heard such great things from friends.
The whole concept is that it’s a home, and it really did feel like that! It felt as though we were staying at a friends home, where we can roam around all of the shared areas and spend time anywhere, in the living room, lounges, library, garden etc. The space was designed by a famous interior designer. Our room was an attic room that was quite beautiful. We also opted to have dinner at the house; the menu changes daily depending on what the chef orders in, and on our night it was delicious. We also used their spa room / sauna which was very enjoyable.
My only comment is that while the staff were all very friendly and nice, they were not always available to be found. At times I would need something and go to the main check in counter and there wouldn’t be anyone there, and I would have to roam around the house looking for someone. Same goes for the entrance. You have to ring the bell every time you come back to Ett Hem and on a few occasions, no one answered the door bell or they answered but didn’t follow up / open the door / or come to get us. I understand it’s a part of the casual home feel, but for a luxury hotel I would have preferred a little more availability…
Great stay overall though!!
