My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

While the room itself was clean and comfortable, the service was disappointing. The front desk staff were rude and unwelcoming during check-in. Additionally, I was required to pay a NZD 200 deposit, even though the listing explicitly stated no deposit was needed. This created an extra inconvenience at check-out, as I had to wait until the front desk opened at 7:00 AM just to get my money back.

สุดยอดมากๆ เลยค่ะ! เพื่อนแนะนำมา พอมาพักจริงดีเกินคาดเยอะเลยค่ะ อย่างแรกเลยคือทำเลสะดวกมาก ไม่ว่าจะเป็นวิวทะเลสาบจากห้องพัก หรือวิวจากห้องอาหารก็สวยสุดๆ ไปเลยค่ะ ห้องสวีทของเรามีสองชั้น ทำให้เราประทับใจมากๆ ชั้นบนเป็นส่วนสำหรับทานอาหารและทำครัว ส่วนชั้นล่างเป็นห้องนอน สะดวกสบายและใส่ใจรายละเอียดจริงๆ ค่ะ แถมยังอยู่ใกล้ซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ตด้วยนะคะ อุปกรณ์ครัวในห้องก็มีครบครัน พนักงานของโรงแรมก็ใจดีมากค่ะ ตอนที่ฉันโดนผึ้งต่อย พวกเขาก็ปลอบใจและเอาน้ำผึ้งมาทาให้แผลด้วยค่ะ ประทับใจสุดๆ เลยค่ะ เสียดายที่ไม่ได้พักนานกว่านี้สักหน่อย บอกได้คำเดียวว่าชอบมากค่ะ!

ในเมืองไครสต์เชิร์ชไม่ค่อยมีอะไรน่าสนใจ ดูน่าเบื่อ ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นแค่จุดแวะพักเท่านั้น ที่พักนี้เลือกเพราะเดินทางไปสนามบินสะดวก เก็บเสียงค่อนข้างดี ห้องพักก็สบาย เดินไปซูเปอร์มาร์เก็ต New World ได้สบายๆ ตรงข้าม New World มีร้านอาหารอเมริกันที่รสชาติดี โดยเฉพาะมันฝรั่งทอด

โรงแรมสวย ที่จอดรถฟรี และอาหารเช้าก็ดี ตรงข้ามโรงแรมคือสวนพฤกษศาสตร์ไครสต์เชิร์ชและทำเลก็ดีมากเช่นกัน ไครสต์เชิร์ชเป็นเรื่องที่น่าประหลาดใจจริงๆ เดิมทีฉันไม่อยากอยู่ที่ไครสต์เชิร์ชทั้งเมืองก็สวยงามมาก เพื่อนคนท้องถิ่นบอกว่าเป็นเพราะทุกบ้านปลูกดอกไม้และในที่สุดก็กลายเป็นเมืองแห่งสวน โรงแรมแห่งนี้ยังเป็นโรงแรมในสวนและคุ้มค่าที่จะเข้าพักเพิ่มอีกวัน!

Repeated stay, assigned room this time is not as great as our previous stay. Cleanliness of the balcony, living room and kitchen were subpar. Took out pots and plates that were not washed properly (oily, had stains) after previous use. Housekeeping came to service the room but we still found areas of mess that were untouched. Overall, still a relatively good stay.

ดีมากค่ะ ใกล้สนามบิน มีบริการรับส่งสะดวกมาก เหมาะสำหรับแวะพักเปลี่ยนเครื่อง ห้องพักใหญ่ สะอาด ถูกสุขอนามัย แถมยังสั่งอาหารจีนมาส่งได้อีกด้วย ดีเยี่ยมเลยค่ะ ครั้งหน้าถ้าเปลี่ยนเครื่องก็จะพักที่นี่อีก

แนะนำเลย 10/10! ทำเลดีมาก อยู่ติดกับสถานีขนส่งเลย นั่งรถเมล์สาย 8 จากสนามบินมาลงที่สถานีขนส่ง พอลงแล้วเลี้ยวขวาเดินไปไม่กี่ก้าวก็ถึงเลย ตรงข้ามสถานีก็มีซูเปอร์มาร์เก็ตใหญ่ไว้ซื้อของได้สบายๆ รถบัส Intercity ก็จอดตรงหน้าสถานีเลย สะดวกสุดๆ โฮสเทลสะอาดสะอ้าน ห้องพักหญิง 8 เตียงมีห้องน้ำ 2 ห้องด้วยนะ พื้นที่ส่วนกลางกว้างขวาง มีห้องครัวใหญ่ และมีเครื่องชงกาแฟแบบหยอดเหรียญที่ราคาไม่แพง พนักงานต้อนรับก็อัธยาศัยดีมาก! คุ้มค่าเงินสุดๆ เลย!
