The Marriott Hotel was a terrific stay. The room was spacious, modern, had beautiful views of Victoria Square, and very clean. The pool facilities and bar were also extremely clean and had a modern, sleek design. Staff were also very friendly.
One suggestion with check in - if staff are on the phone upon arrival, a simple 'we will be with your shortly' or ask another staff to help wouldn't hurt. A 5 min wait isn't a good look - you never know who the client is (hotel inspector?, travel guide?, investor?)
Also, a sauna or spa would have complimented the well-designed pool nicely. However, i understand that space might be an issue.
Definitely one of the best hotels so far in Adelaide.
Nice hotel. A little dated but made up for with an exceptional breakfast! Great dinner options, food was excellent. Bed was comfortable, again a little dated and fitted with basic, quality bed coverings.
TV via chrome cast was convenient to watch streaming services.
Highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental.
The staff's exceptional responsiveness and attentiveness truly stood out. While things may not always go perfectly, they addressed my concerns quickly and made me feel genuinely welcomed - just like being at home.
A special thanks to Jenny at the front office who thoughtfully arranged a room with a view of the riverside fireworks (a delightful surprise I wasn’t expecting). From check-in at the front desk to luggage delivery and even proactive messages letting me know I could reach out anytime, the entire team (Divya, Kenneth, Kimberly, Kendra) was consistently attentive and responsive.
Though I only booked the basic room type, it was surprisingly spacious with a comfortable sofa and a convenient desk. The bathroom included both a tub and a shower.
I truly appreciated the generous space and excellent service. Everything was too good! It was really great value for money. You simply cannot find a competitor in the city at the same price that offers such an outstanding level of service, space and amenities.
Their dedication allowed me to relax and enjoy my stay with peace of mind. I would love to return! :) which I actually did extend my stay for a week ***
The hotel is next to the Tanunda Pines Golf Course, essentially on the same ground within walking distance from the hotel reception. If I had known that prior to checking in I would have booked the course for a quick round - totally my own fault. Pity. But I did get to enjoy Novotel's tennis court and got a quick sweat session with my husband which was very nice before attending my friend's wedding nearby. The hotel is centrally located in Barossa Valley and the hotel has good facilities. Great choice for vacation in this region.
I had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. I particularly appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made for a restful night. Location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. I love the indoor pool and spa but need more time to stay specially when an event finish a bit late and need time to relax in there.
