Relaxing.

We spent an afternoon watching the tide recede. It was quiet and relaxing. It was not too busy. Mostly local people were there.

Nice hiking trails and waterfalls that can be seen by the beach during low tide.

This park is a nice alternative for those who can't walk the whole Split Trail. It has several nice walking trails. Too, during low tide one can go down to the beach and see several waterfalls.

Worth a short detour
