This semi-detached, two-storey townhouse features three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, all meticulously maintained and well-appointed. The villa's elevated position provides stunning views to the west of the Caribbean Sea, set amidst lush tropical gardens.
The main floor boasts a spacious open plan living area, a newly renovated kitchen, a powder room, and a large guest suite with twin beds, each with trundle. The dining area is located on the covered patio, perfect for year-round al fresco dining. The patio also offers a relaxed seating area and leads to the plunge pool on a lower level, complete with a deck and a full outdoor shower.
Hummingbird House is situated on the idyllic West coast of Barbados in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The whole house and gardens are detached, very private, secure and fully fenced. Lined with beautiful bougainvillea it is set amidst a gorgeous, colourful and immaculately landscaped garden with palm trees as well as a mango, lime and cherry tree. Sun-loungers surround the large private pool which is exclusively for your use. Hummingbird House is only accessible via our gated driveway, to which only the guest has the combination. It’s just a 5 minute walk to the Caribbean Sea where water sports, picnic areas and restaurants can be found, as well as the local supermarket, chemist and deli. The house boasts 3 large air-conditioned bedrooms 2 with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom opens on to a balcony with seating and breathtaking views of the ocean. The ground floor offers a fully equipped kitchen as well as a laundry area. The large lounge and dining area with vaulted ceilings lead onto a covered veranda, which, with its great views of the gardens and the ocean, is ideal for Al fresco dining. There is also an outside play area for the children. A maid will visit each week to ensure you are comfortable and to change linens etc… and a house manager will be on hand to meet and greet you and help with any questions or issues you may have throughout the duration of your stay. We are situated just a few minutes from Sandy Lane and their amazing golf course and just 10 minutes from Holetown heading North and Bridgetown to the South. The villa is air conditioned throughout.Porters Court is an exclusive gated development of 8 luxury villas with a communal swimming pool and patio area with sun loungers and umbrellas. The villas are set within beautiful well-maintained tropical gardens. No. 5 has a great location right by the pool. The villa comes with membership of the exclusive Fairmont Royal Pavilion Beach Club, a five minute walk from the property. This gives guests free access to sun beds and umbrellas and use of the beach bar and water sports facilities at your own expense. The famous Lonestar restaurant is also about a 5 minute walk as are two great beach bars. Our housekeeper will visit three days per week. We provide all guests with a complimentary welcome grocery pack of tea, coffee, orange juice, milk, eggs, bread, butter, fruit, local beers and rum punch so you can relax immediately and enjoy your holiday.
