This is one of the nicer Backpackers I’ve stayed in. It has only one bunk in each pod so you’re really separate from everybody else. The location is three hours from Amsterdam although it is very very close to the train station I loved the free fruit and the outside areas. There was two nice garden areas. The only thing I didn’t appreciate or enjoy was I booked in so late at night and it just happened to be handover and the lady could not help me as she was busy counting her hotel and finishing her day so therefore I did not get my free welcome drink. I thought it was just the water on the bar when I asked if there was any food she said no and did not offer me any fruit which of course I realised it’s free so there was food. Another couple were trying to book in at the same time as me so I gave them the computer. I really wish that the woman behind the bar could have told me there was a second computer. I guess she was just having a bad day. I also had had a bad day although it’s not a competition, I had caught the wrong train from Amsterdam and had an hour and a half detour. All my own fault but I was absolutely shattered. I could not think straight when I got there and needed a little help to check In. Highly recommend doing the caves and fort at Saint Petersburg. Enjoy your day.

Im Zimmer fehlt ein Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen. Auch eine Flasche Wasser zur Begrüßung wäre nett gewesen. Die Kissen sind viel zu dick. Es gibt keine Bademäntel im Zimmer, nur zum kostenpflichtigen Ausleihen und auch nicht in Übergrößen. Es war auch sehr kalt im Zimmer. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut, auch das Frühstück war hervorragend.

Hotel environment was good BUT : 1. Check in and check out timing. Four o'clock is very late for a check in. Global standard allows checking In as from 13.00 hours! Eleven o'clock is very early for checking out. Again global standard sets check out at 12.00 with possible extension to 14.00 hours. 2. The room was supposed to be ” comfort plus”. I experienced no special comfort or extra comfort for that matter. Room was standard in terms of size and equipment. 3. Reception staff allowed the ”concession” of checking out at 12.00 and went to considerable length stressing that it is a gross exception! Not the right attitude for a service organization.

Location is great, closed to the soccer stadium. With 2 big supermarkets nearby. The room is not so clean, and the shampoo/ body wash is empty. But they have a bulk bed and 2 single beds. It’s prefect fit to my family.

Hotel is eenvoudig maar netjes en schoon. Locatie prima voor bezoek Maastricht en de mooie omgeving. Ontbijt voldoende. De receptie is vreselijk. Inloggen op een tablet. Het enige aanwezige personeelslid sprak geen Nederlands, vond het vervelend om ons te helpen en heeft tot 3 maal toe verkeerde informatie gedeeld. De te betalen kosten aan de balie berekende ze eerst 2 maal, na protest werd dit gecorrigeerd. Verzoek om met 2 stellen kamers naast elkaar te krijgen is volledig genegeerd, wij kregen kamers op de t****e etage en begane grond. TV werkte niet, na aandringen kregen we een andere kamer met werkende TV. De vokgende dag was er een andere Nederlands sprekende dame die heel vriendelijk was.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer hervorragenden Lage oberhalb der Stadt. Von dort ließen sich alle weihnachtlichen Attraktionen (Grotten, Winter Wunderland etc.) fußläufig erreichen. Nachts war es absolut still, sowohl außerhalb als auch innerhalb des Hotels. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr lecker. Komischerweise fehlten kleine Löffel für die Eier. Aber das war verschmerzbar. Das Zimmer war für zwei Nächte völlig akzeptabel. Der einzige negative Punkt, den ich anmerken muss, waren Haare in der Badewanne. Das passte absolut nicht zum restlichen Eindruck des Hotels. Ansonsten kann ich das Thermae 2000 für einen Aufenthalt in Valkenburg vollends empfehlen.

Wij hebben al een aantal keer in het Townhouse Hotel in Maastricht overnacht. Ook deze keer was het weer prima. Het personeel is vriendelijk en het hotel is gezellig en goed. De kamers zijn schoon met heerlijke bedden. De locatie van het Townhouse is super. Op loopafstand van het gezellige centrum van Maastricht. Kortom een aanrader.

NH Maastricht ist ein etwas in die Jahre gekommendes Hotel. Doch die Zimmer waren sauber und schön gross. Das Personal war sehr freundlich . Unsere Klimaanlage ging am Anfang nicht. Nach kurzer Info an der Rezeption war der Techniker und hat Fehler behoben. Die Lage ist gut. Mit dem Auto ist man in Paar Minuten in der Stadtmitte.

Bathroom bit outdated, suggest renovations. Toilet bowl needs a lid. Air conditioning should be standard. Nice and quiet area, free parking, didn't get to try the spa.
