I stayed at AHHA Boutique Kampot with friends and family and had a good overall experience. The cleanliness was excellent—the rooms and common areas were very well maintained. The location is convenient for getting around Kampot, and the service was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The amenities were okay but a bit basic, so there’s still some room for improvement. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay and suitable for both friends and family trips.

I stayed four nights at Sokchea Kampot Hotel in Kampot. This wasn’t my first time — last year I stayed 10 nights and had a good experience. Unfortunately, this visit felt different. On my first day, after checking in around 3pm and going out for dinner, I returned to find a cockroach walking on my bed — bigger than I would ever want to see. Staff removed it, but it was hard to relax that night. The next day I asked for the sheets to be changed. They only made the bed, and the same stain was still there. After asking a second time and explaining why, they finally replaced them. That same day, there was no proper housekeeping. The bathroom trash was not emptied, and I had to ask for toilet paper as it wasn’t replaced. For a hotel of this type, I don’t think that’s acceptable. There is also construction next to the hotel, with loud noise from 8am to 5pm, making it less relaxing — especially when trying to enjoy the pool, which is probably the hotel’s main positive point

We have been staying here for 5 days and everything has been amazing. The food and desserts are absolutely delicious, the nature around is beautiful, and the place is very clean. The staff are warm, friendly, and always helpful. There are fun activities like billiards and table tennis, which make the stay even more enjoyable. The people here are very kind and welcoming, you really feel at home. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. Montagne Residence offers a comfortable stay with some standout features, especially for travelers who value space and style. The rooms are impressively large, giving plenty of space to relax, unpack, and feel at home rather than cramped like in many hotels. The overall design of the property is modern and clean, with a minimalist aesthetic that makes the environment feel fresh and well-maintained. One of the highlights is the swimming pool, which adds a nice touch for relaxing after a long day. The surrounding area complements the modern design of the residence, creating a pleasant atmosphere to unwind. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The air conditioning can be quite weak, which may make the room less comfortable, especially in hot weather. Additionally, there tend to be quite a lot of mosquitoes around the property, which can be inconvenient if you're sensitive to bites or planning to spend time outdoors. Overall, Montagne Residence is a good option if you prioritize spacious rooms and modern design, but improvements in cooling and pest control would make the experience much better.

The portier, who is also the entire hotel staff, was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming to us. The location is great—not too central and near the port, but also not too far; the market is just a couple of minutes away on foot. Our stay was very pleasant, even though the weather wasn’t (raining and a little bit stormy). The bathroom was a little bit adventurous because of the weather, as it had an open roof—but we knew that. We would recommend this hotel, and we are coming again.
