We had a wonderful time enjoying the onsen bath, recliner lounge, ocean terrace and beautiful view from our room (Note: trip.com booking of lowest priced room with sea view is not correct as the room is located at the lowest level and you only see trees before the ocean. We need to pay extra to upgrade the room to a better view). There's a private onsen bath tub in the room too. They also provide free coffee, popsicle sticks and yukata at the lobby. Dinner and breakfast has a reasonable spread but most food (especially the fried ones) are pre-cooked and cold. So they don't taste as good. The location is high up the hills. It's not possible to get a bus and then climb up with heavy luggages. The best way is to take a taxi, so be prepared to pay the price.
It was a nice stay. We took a Junior Suite with the private onsen included.
The room is not huge, but has everything needed and is cozy enough. There are many amenities (in the pure Japanese hotel tradition) as well as a ”Yukata bar” in which you can choose your fav yukata.
The biggest perk of the room is obviously the private onsen, which is a truly hidden gem. Very relaxing with a nice seaview.
Staff was very helpful with the clogged sink (came just a few minutes after we called).
The dinner was an impressive buffet, with a wide choice of seafood both to cook (the oysters, abalone and other shells to be grilled were wow) and raw (ikura all you can eat). Besides that, there was a steak live cooking station, shabu shabu as well as sukiyaki.
Definitely a recommended stay!
