I spent 11 days at Amarina Sapphire Hurgada Resort and overall was very happy with my stay. We stayed in a Deluxe Sea View Room with Jacuzzi, which I would definitely highlight as one of the hotel’s main advantages. The bathroom is spacious, the jacuzzi is large and comfortable, and the room itself is very pleasant for a longer stay. The staff. This is probably the hotel’s biggest strength. The staff genuinely make an effort to ensure that guests have a comfortable stay and respond quickly to any requests. I would especially like to mention Fatma, the Guest Relations Manager, and Remon, the Hotel Manager. Thanks to their attention and willingness to resolve any issues, many minor inconveniences never became real problems. What I appreciated most was that the staff did not simply accept requests formally — they genuinely tried to help. For example, we had an evening flight, and the Hotel Manager kindly arranged a late check-out until 6:00 PM at no additional charge. This is a significant advantage for guests with late flights. À la carte restaurants. The hotel has three à la carte restaurants: Italian, Mexican, and Asian. At the time of our stay, visits to all three restaurants were free of charge and included in the room rate, which I consider a great advantage. It is a nice way to add some variety to your meals instead of eating exclusively at the main restaurant. The beach and beach bar. I really liked the level of service on the beach. As soon as guests arrive, the staff come over to help arrange and adjust the sun loungers and provide fresh, wet towels. Snacks and drinks can also be brought directly to your lounger. The beach staff are attentive without being intrusive, which makes relaxing by the sea very comfortable. Entertainment and evening program. There was live music with vocal performances on the hotel grounds every evening. In addition, pool parties with live musicians were organized approximately once a week. For guests who enjoy some evening entertainment in addition to a relaxing beach holiday, this is a nice bonus. Things to keep in mind Room cleanliness. On the first day, our room had not been cleaned particularly well. However, after contacting reception, the issue was resolved very quickly: the room was cleaned almost immediately, and we had no further complaints about the quality of housekeeping during our stay. So I would consider this more of a one-time issue that the staff handled promptly. Pillows. The pillows in the room are very large and were personally uncomfortable for me. However, this was also easily resolved: after contacting reception, we were provided with different, more comfortable pillows. Construction work. The hotel is still being completed, so construction and renovation work is ongoing in some areas. At times, this can be noisy. If having complete peace and quiet during the daytime is important to you, this is something to keep in mind. Minibar. There is no fully stocked minibar in the room. Drinks are provided only once, on the day of arrival, and are not replenished afterwards. Alcohol. The hotel mainly serves locally produced Egyptian alcohol, which, in my opinion, is fairly average in quality. However, this is quite common in hotels in Hurghada, so I would not consider it a serious disadvantage of this particular hotel. Overall, I had a positive experience. Yes, the hotel has some drawbacks, primarily related to the ongoing construction and a few minor day-to-day issues. However, for me, the biggest advantage was that the staff genuinely care about the comfort of their guests and are quick to resolve any issues that arise. I particularly enjoyed the beach service, the à la carte restaurants, the evening entertainment, and, of course, the room with the jacuzzi. I would recommend this hotel for a holiday, especially if you value attentive staff and good service. I hope that once all construction work is completed, the overall experience will become even better.

We had a very pleasant stay at Steigenberger Aqua Magic. The beach was wonderful. We booked windsurfing and snorkling with the hotel and both experiences were great. The slides were at times a bit crowded and unfortunately closed sometimes because of strong winds - which should not have an influence on the slides. The food was ok. The efficiency of the staff at the main restaurant was lacking speed and therefore long queues occured. Simple adjustments could increase speed threefold. The rooms are good. We had to change because the first one was nearby the disco and therefore very noisy after 11pm. The second room was perfect, quiet and sunny. The pools are great and most of the staff was very friendly.

He was absolutely outstanding throughout our stay. His professionalism, kindness, hospitality, and personal attention made a real difference to our vacation. Mr. Wagdy always made sure that everything was perfect for us and that we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. He genuinely cares about the guests and goes above and beyond to make them happy. This level of service and hospitality is exactly what makes guests want to return. Thank you to the entire Makadi team for the great experience, and once again, a huge thank you to Mr. Wagdy Ramzy for making our stay extra special and memorable. We had a wonderful 7-day stay at this hotel at the end of February with our 4-year-old child, and overall, we were very satisfied with our vacation. The beach is excellent: there are plenty of sunbeds, and they are spaced far apart, so it never feels crowded. The sand is soft, and the entrance to the sea is gentle and comfortable, with very few shells. There are lifeguard towers along the beach, which adds a sense of safety. A large bar offers soft drinks, alcohol, and coffee, along with two smaller bars. There are changing cabins, and the sunbeds and umbrellas are sturdy and well-maintained. The beach staff are attentive and helpful—they assist with towels, clean sunglasses, and bring drinks. There is also beach entertainment, including yoga, bachata and zumba dancing, pétanque, and beach volleyball. Paddleboard rental and a gym are also available, which adds to the variety of activities. Breakfast was diverse and fresh. There are live cooking stations for omelets, pancakes, and waffles, as well as traditional Egyptian dishes prepared on the spot. We also enjoyed the honey station, two types of porridge, a wide selection of pastries and bread, including freshly baked flatbreads. There is a large variety of salads, vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts, fish, sausages, and fruits such as kiwi, melon, apples, guava, and fruit salads. We tried massages from three different therapists, and all of them were very good. We definitely recommend taking time to enjoy the spa services. Music is thoughtfully integrated throughout the hotel. In the main restaurant, you can enjoy pleasant classical piano or jazz music. In the afternoon, the café with donuts features live performances such as guitar, saxophone, violin, or vocals. In the evening, there is a lively entertainment program with singing and dancing, and at night, there is a nightclub near the stage. The staff truly stand out—they are attentive, responsive, and always willing to help with any request. They are especially kind to children, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to the manager for the exceptional care and professionalism. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, with a separate sleeping area and a cozy lounge space with a sofa and TV. The walk-in wardrobe is a big advantage, with plenty of hangers and storage space, as well as a safe. The bed, pillows, and blankets are very comfortable, ensuring great sleep quality. Housekeeping is excellent: the room was cleaned daily, towels (including beach towels) were changed every day, and bed linen was changed upon request. There are three à la carte restaurants—Asian, Italian, and Lebanese—which are a great way to diversify your evenings. Reservations are made in advance at the Viennese café. The service is efficient, the staff are attentive, and the food is delicious and authentic. The hotel is located in the Sahl Hasheesh area. About a 10-minute walk away is the main square, with a shopping street, cafés, and playgrounds nearby. We recommend visiting a charming artisan shop near the square—you can find unique souvenirs and take great photos. There were a few minor downsides: at the end of February, it can be quite windy. Although the air temperature was around 22–24°C and the sea 18–20°C, the wind made it chilly when getting out of the water, so bringing warm clothes is a good idea. The hotel does not have heated pools. Also, the kids’ club was not operating during our stay, and there was limited entertainment for children, with no evening kids’ disco. Despite these small issues, we had a fantastic and relaxing holiday and would happily return.

Amazing experience at Amarina Jannah Resort & Aqua Park! The rooms were clean, the food was great, and the aqua park and pools were so much fun. A special thank you to the animation team for their incredible energy, fun activities, and amazing evening shows. They made our vacation unforgettable and always kept everyone smiling. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay at The Grand Hotel Hurghada (24/7 – 30/7) I had an absolutely wonderful stay at **The Grand Hotel Hurghada** from **July 24th to July 30th**, and I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team for making our vacation truly memorable. The **food** was simply outstanding. The quality, taste, and unbelievable variety exceeded all expectations. Every meal offered something new and delicious, making dining one of the highlights of our stay. The **staff** deserve special recognition. Every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They were always smiling and genuinely happy to help, serving guests with dedication and pleasure. Their positive attitude made us feel at home from the very first day. A special thank you goes to **Mr. Nader** at the Reception. He is, without a doubt, one of the best hotel reception managers I have ever met. He is highly professional, courteous, and an excellent problem-solver. Any issue was handled quickly and efficiently, always with a smile. I would also like to thank **Mr. Mohamed Moawad** from the Food & Beverage Department. He is one of the finest professionals at the hotel—extremely humble, welcoming, respectful, and genuinely caring about the guests' comfort. Another person who deserves special praise is **Chef Mahmoud**. He is simply one of the best. His passion and dedication are reflected in the outstanding quality of the food served throughout the resort. The team at the **Eastern Restaurant** was exceptional. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. **Mostafa** and **Ashraf** and **Mohamed**deserve special recognition for their excellent service and kindness. Dining there was always a wonderful experience. The **Room Service** was also excellent. **Majed** is a kind-hearted gentleman who serves guests with genuine dedication, professionalism, and a cheerful attitude. His hard work did not go unnoticed. The **beach** is beautiful, sandy, clean, and perfect for families. There were always plenty of available sunbeds and enough space for everyone to relax comfortably without feeling crowded. The hotel offers a great selection of restaurants: * The International Restaurant next to the Reception. * The Pasta Restaurant on the second floor. * The Eastern Restaurant with its outdoor grill near the Reception. * The large white beach restaurant serving Shawarma, Burgers, Hot Dogs, and Pizza. * Another beach restaurant serving snacks and French fries. Every one of these restaurants offered excellent food and service. The only point I would suggest improving is the **swimming pool area**. The hotel has only one main pool, which is not enough considering the large number of guests staying at the resort. Overall, my family and I had an outstanding holiday. The excellent hospitality, delicious food, beautiful beach, and the genuine kindness of the staff made this one of our best vacations. I highly recommend **The Grand Hotel Hurghada** and look forward to returning again.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely garden view which made the stay feel calm and relaxing. The environment is very peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The food selection offers a wide variety of choices. However, the taste was a bit below our expectations—possibly because we are not very used to the local flavors. That said, there were still options available for everyone. What we enjoyed the most was the beach. The long bridge walkway stretching out into the sea was beautiful and a highlight of our stay. Walking along it and being able to see fish and even turtles in the clear water was truly a special experience. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature, especially if you love the sea and a peaceful atmosphere.

I recently stayed at Mercure Hotel, and overall I had a really good experience. The food was alright—definitely better than what I’ve had in all-inclusive hotels in Turkey or Tunisia. There was a wide variety of dishes, including lots of tasty options, cakes, tea, coffee (which was actually good), cocktails, and decent beer. The service was excellent. The staff were very polite and always willing to help—you can ask them anything and they’ll do their best. A special mention goes to Ahmed, the kitchen chef, who is an incredibly kind person. He really stood out, and I’d give an extra star just for him. The resort overall is not as busy as many other places in the area, which I really liked. It’s a smaller hotel compared to others nearby, with a simple, nice look—white buildings with brown windows, just like in the photos. It’s not a big aqua park-style resort, but honestly that was a plus for me, as I could relax without too many kids around. The beach is nice and quiet, perfect for relaxing. There are comfortable beds with shades/umbrellas around, so you can always find a good spot. The hotel has three swimming pools—the one next to the main restaurant is very large and usually empty, as most people stay at the smaller pool or by the beach. The sea water was a bit cold for my preference, but it’s beautifully clear and very clean. Many people really enjoy it, especially for snorkeling—there are amazing snorkeling spots right next to the resort. Rooms are cleaned every day, and you get two bottles of water per room daily, which is a nice touch. There are also plenty of activities: you can play tennis (though they only have one set of rackets), mini golf is included in the stay, and there’s a gym which is usually empty. There are snacks available by the pools and the beach, and a bar in the main restaurant. Outside the hotel, taxis are easy to find either at the lobby or on the street. Just make sure to agree on the price beforehand, or use the inDrive app—it’s usually cheaper than Uber or Careem, and you agree on the price upfront. There are a few shops nearby as well. If you need medication, it’s better to order from Self Care Pharmacy (you can find them on Facebook). For example, I ordered Antinal and rehydration salts with delivery for only 250 Egyptian pounds. They can deliver pretty much anything you need, and it’s much cheaper than buying inside the resort—definitely good to be prepared for emergencies. Overall, it’s a clean, more peaceful hotel with good service, plenty of food options, and lots to do. A great place to relax and enjoy the Red Sea.

6 stars because 5 is simply not enough. We stayed as a family of four and left genuinely moved. The Grand Resort Hurghada gets everything right, but it is the people who make it truly unforgettable. The beach is clean and well-kept soft sand, smooth pebbles, calm and crystal-clear water. Never overcrowded. Beach staff quietly appeared with drinks and snacks before you even thought to ask. The dual-bracelet access to the Grand Hotel seafront was a lovely bonus we made the most of every day. The food is outstanding — more than 7 restaurants and bars, a la carte dining with reservation, and a seriously impressive spread of Egyptian, Lebanese, Japanese, Asian and international cuisine. Fresh, varied, and well presented every single time. The grounds are lush and immaculately kept. Peaceful pathways, palms, flowers everywhere. Spotlessly clean throughout. Our room overlooked the pool and gardens and we woke each morning to birds singing. The room itself had lovely small touches robes, quality toiletries, disposable flip-flops, and a small welcome loaf that genuinely made us smile. The team is where this resort truly stands apart. GM Mostafa Nassar sets a standard of warmth that flows through every single member of staff. Chef Joseph and Chef Farouk run the kitchens brilliantly. Hany at the lobby welcomed us every time like he had been waiting just for us. To the housekeeping team, the luggage staff, and everyone who brought food and drinks to our room every small gesture felt genuinely big, and none of it went unnoticed. This is not just a five-star resort. It is the kind of place that reminds you what hospitality actually means.
