I recently stayed at Hotel Tanjong Vista in Kuala Terengganu and had a mixed experience. While the location was excellent—close to eateries, laundry services, seaview room and KTCC Mall—the overall stay left much to be desired. Unfortunately, the room had a strong smell of cigar smoke, which was quite unpleasant. The cleanliness of the room also needs improvement, as it didn’t meet the standards I expected. As for the breakfast, it was very basic and not up to standard. There was limited variety and the quality could definitely be improved. That said, the hotel’s strategic location is a major plus, especially for those looking to explore the city or run errands nearby.

”Glory in the Past” Strategic location (5-7 minutes to Kampung Cina), the staffs are friendly, the aircond is cold enough, basement parking is free & view of Jambatan Angkat. Other than that, wasn't that good staying experience. - Room smells moldy (carpet & moisture) - The bed sheet wasn't clean - Breakfast was just so so Back in the day, this hotel might be awesome but now I prefer staying in boutique hotel to be fair, at least it's new & fresh

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Specially the Pakistani man and the Malay lady very helpful But they don’t have coffee inside the room

Everall staying is just fine. Hotel room is quite big unfortunately our room face leaking issues due to heavy rain. Did mention to the staff but none action is taken and we being sleeping in the leaking room for 2 nights. Hopefully can improve especially on the parking site for hotel guest as the area is quite dark and not really safe for customer. Otherwise all is good for a boutique hotel

I just returned from my trip and had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The absolute best part about it is its incredible location. If proximity to the main attractions is important to you, this is the place to be. The hotel's vicinity to the town center is perfect. It’s just a short walk to the famous Pasar Payang and Mayang Mall, which made exploring and shopping so convenient. We didn't have to worry about transportation or getting around; everything we wanted to see and do was right there. The convenience extends to dining as well. There are ”lots of food shops nearby,” offering a great variety of local cuisine. This made finding meals extremely easy, and we never had to venture far for a great bite to eat. Overall, the ease and convenience provided by the location truly enhanced our vacation. The stay was ”easy and without worries” because everything was within reach. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a stress-free stay near the heart of the town's action.

My room was spacious dan impeccably clean, featuring a comfortable bed, modern amenities like a safe, and lovely soft lighting. The staff were the true highlight, receptionists were friendly and efficient, thanks to the outstanding staff and excellent facilities. The hotel restaurant had a beautiful setting, and while pricier, the food quality was generally excellent.

I had a free upgrade from double bed to family room. So it was spacious for me. The reason of choosing this hotel was due to its distance, near the Jambatan Angkat. I had a short run from the hotel to the Jambatan Angkat return. The hotel was near to Masjid Negeri hence I didnt feel alone hearing the azan near me. Many restaurant nearby so you dont have to worry about breakfast. I will return if I were to register running event in Kuala Terengganu. It was near the Terminal bus station too. Just walking distance.
