I requested a quiet room , which when I arrived was happy to see I was on the 5th floor . After the event I attended I came back to my room and was very upset to be met by very loud music blaring into the room from outside , this continued all night and stopped at 5am . I managed 1hours sleep , I was mortified . This ruined my experience.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel… I was only using this hotel as I was staying over in Leeds due to work commitments and was looking for somewhere to put my head down for a night and this hotel was very good for what I needed and was definately use this hotel again if and when I need to in the future… Room was clean and bed was comfortable and the room had everything in it I needed to…
Stayed in twin room on second floor. Check in was easy, staff really friendly and service excellent. Room was lovely. Comfortable and quiet. Good facilities and shower was fantastic. No hot buffet breakfast, but you ordered from a menu. Portions small but very tasty. There was a cold continental style buffet. The young lady who served us both mornings was delightful. Nothing too much trouble. Wish I had taken her name to name drop her specifically on this review! Location was excellent. Around 5 mins walk from the station and 2 mins walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars etc. When checking out at 11, the hotel allowed us to keep our bags there until 6pm as our train wasn't until early evening. Saved us a bad back carrying them around! All in all, excellent stay and would be my first choice hotel if / when we return to Leeds.
Customer services was up to par, and the location of the hotel was honestly pretty wonderful-but the lack of amenities made the hotel nights kind of frustrating. This leads to the most prominent issue- the lack of a fridge; which in my opinion should be a common staple across all hotels. So although in I would still recommend this hotel to other tourists a fridge across all rooms is extremely recommended so guests could store a diverse choice of food and drinks that they desire.
Staff were super welcoming and helpful.
The inclusive evening package was definitely worth the upgrade, felt like an airport loung.
Breakfast was lovely and great choices.
Beds were nice and comfy and rooms were clean.
Location for accessibility was great just not in the most desirable area , overall a brilliant stay
The hotel is at the centre and near the shopping centre. I couldn’t sleep much because the room next door was very noisy. Breakfast was okay as expected from a free breakfast.
Great location for our stay, central for what we were there for. Pricey for what you get but for the time of year it was to be expected. This was a very rare mother/daughter night away for my daughters 15th birthday, info as added to our “special occasion section” upon booking but sadly no note or card upon arrival. Hotel was spotless but our room (209) had a potent stench of sewerage upon check in. Bed was SO comfy which was a plus. S
ผผู้เข้าพักLovely rooms, welcoming and kind staff in general. However there were some minor things that became a little bit of a concern. For example, leaky shower pipe, worn out shower, fridge in room was great but it didn't really make my drinks cold enough, the window was a bit small making the room not lit up enough during the day, even though the tv had WiFi it wasn't a smart tv and I couldn't connect my phone to it. A bit disappointing because it was a large tv lol
To make things worse, I was trying to order food at the bar and the person asked me to sit down so that he can take my order from the table. I did that, and he never came back even though he was serving customers seated around me. It was awkward and I was almost amused by it. When I left, he asked me ”no food order?” Lol . Anyway, overall it was moderately pleasant would give it 3 out 5
LLadyMarahGreat location, very quiet peaceful area beautiful room and very clean I lived it . But my stay would have been better if everything had gone smoothly I Just had a problem with the hotel asking for a deposit and not accepting cash for it , I do understand policies are different but after a 12hour flight plus 3 hour train ride all I needed was to get my room and rest but I had to sit for over 20 plus minutes trying to figure out what to do with my situation.I suggest they should be more accommodating and attentive to different situations and customers circumstances rather than just saying we don’t accept this and not willing to find a solution to help. Later on after about 30 minutes or so a very nice friendly manager came to my rescue and found a solution .which could have been done in the first place than having a customer wait for long because someone else is not willing to budge and understand a situation and find a solution.
QQueenTee5I had a good experience at the hotel, very lovely and clean.
Room was nicely cleaned by Edina. Twin room beds bigger than I imagined and saw in pictures.
Room had basic items needed - kettle, coffee, tea, milk, iron, ironing board etc
Breakfast was was excellent and the staffs were friendly
Checking in took some minutes, but checking out was more straightforward and was able to extend my check out time easily.
Very good location and not far from the Kirkgate market
ผผู้เข้าพักMidland hotel is a little piece of history in Bradford. Central location, welcoming opulent entrance and reception areas.Vintage Tiles, chandeliers , wrought iron staircases, high ceilings. It has been refurbished- some rooms are yet to undergo the transformation. . Our room had been refurbished- black tiled bathroom , a forceful shower and deep bath. Fridge and tea/coffee making facilities and as it was an executive room - robe and slippers.
Bradford is going through some gentrification - some dowdy areas and yet there are areas of inspiration such as the central square set amongst lovely historic buildings . The tunnels- and pubs/ eateries within are magical( see pic attached, truly ‘ a world of imagination ‘) The Alhambra Theatre - art deco.
