Decent stop over after we travelled from Thorpe Park to get to Alton towers the following day. Got there at 20:30 and check in was smooth. The lady on the desk was friendly! Bed was comfy enough, bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner but was decent enough for the night!
Staff at reception extremely helpful and welcoming.
Breakfast excellent value and staff once again very helpful.
Car park great,location great.
Super value
A good location close to motorway North ,plenty of food options on site.
A very polite and helpful lady at reception.
Great night rest for onward journey North tomorrow
Like the last few trips, The hotel overall was excellent as always. The bed was really comfortable, the shower and bathroom were nice despite the small size. The room service was wonderful, came back to find the bed fully cleaned and tucked after coming back from a walk. Plus the staff were also really helpful when it came to helping with my reservation and what my other friends needed during the last four days there.
Really looking forward to coming back here again in August
Room is basic but that's all that was needed for 1 night. Some mould on blind but for the price I can overlook little things like that. Staff in bar very friendly and accomidating. Loud music can be heard from pub until late but my 6yr old still managed to sleep through it so didnt cause any issues. I would recommend for a cheaper stay over for Drayton Manor as its so close to the park.
Good location for a trip to Alton Towers. It takes about 35 minutes in the morning. The bed is not that comfortable and the water pressure for shower is quite weak. I was woken up by the sound of the door closing outside in the morning.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe stayed in the Keele Courtyard for 3 nights 27-30 December 2025, close enough to the village of Woore where our son hosted a large family gathering - 15 in all of which we are the parents of 3 and grandparents of 7.
We found most aspects of the hotel to be very good - very helpful and obliging staff, a spacious and well-appointed room with a large very accessible bathroom. The generous bed was perhaps a little soft for our taste, with pillows that were too large/over-filled to be completely comfortable, again not to our taste, however we slept without too much 'distress'!!
Our main disappointment was breakfast. We dined at 7.45am on our first morning as we had a 9am church service to attend and there were few others in the restaurant. The 'heated'
plates were cold, and without exception, every cooked item (an acceptable selection available) in the chafers was tepid if not cold and greasy. The fried egg yolks were solid and unpalatable.
The generic plain yoghurt was of thin consistency and tasteless. The unlabelled marmalade, (if that was what it was?!) had no flavour and might even have been apricot jam ...
There were plenty of cereal, pastry, Danish, roll, fruit, cold cut options etc. and the fruit salad and compote were delicious! The bread for toasting was basic and there were no uncut options to enable a choice of thickness. There was a seeded loaf, already sliced, available near the pastries, etc. which made delicious toast but could perhaps have been available for individual guests to cut more thickly?
The coffee from the machines was good, with a varied selection of choices. In order to have a cup of tea, it was necessary to 'dunk' a teabag in a mug - yes, very much what many tea-
drinkers do in their daily lives, but surely the availability of small stainless steel tea pots near the hot water is not beyond the imagination of an organisation like Marriot? Tea tastes so much better if allowed to brew in a teapot before being poured into a cup or mug!
Perhaps these comments will allow Marriot to review some of their Buffet Breakfast practises and improve the quality of the experience. May I conclude by saying that we have had worse and better - but are still looking for perfection ... !
Thank you for this opportunity to air my feelings. ************.
ผผู้เข้าพักHotel really clean and modern. Room was spacious and smelt amazing. Clean modern decor. Most staff are friendly, however, we booked breakfast when we arrived at the hotel, and the pot washer not only stood in the kitchen staring out at guests making them feel extremely uncomfortable, but then he also went and put his fingers in the food to stir the scrambled eggs, but he also picked up a sausage and ate it. The hotel refunded us, but it made us feel sick. Also, £9 per night per car in the Hilton car park is pretty steep.
ผผู้เข้าพักWhat a lovely stay we've had! Cleanliness is spot on, great breakfast with plenty to choose from, we visited the pool as well, very warm and clean, shame it's only available in 45mins slots
ผผู้เข้าพักA great little place with a lovely swimming pool. Enough activities to keep our 8 year old daughter happy. Lovely family time together in a very clean and well equipped lodge.
ผผู้เข้าพักBack ina time it was really great hotel and now it is till they need little bit renovation but trust me it’s a great hotel nice swimming pool you have to have swimming cap and googles to swim which was not told before and I don’t think k this is right but service rooms breakfast location is all great another thing I do t like they took deposit which didn’t make sense and they haven’t returned yet
ผผู้เข้าพักBeautiful hotel, lovely friendly staff, comfortable clean room with new upgraded decor and great facilities, relaxing and easy access to parks, the hotel needs more staff to cater to guests as there are not enough staff members to accommodate the amount of guests especially when it is dinner time, some food was served cold but only on certain days so I am assuming they have different chefs for some days, as mostly the food was perfect and amazing!
