Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city. What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking. The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place. Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Perfect location. Walking distance to main locations and city centre. We had a private room with bathroom, so can’t really say how was it in share rooms. We had big windows in our room but not really nice view. However, we didn’t went there to look outsid the window. Very clean place overall, looks like newly refurbished. Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We stayed here the night before creamfeilds I will start with the good points .. Staff 10/10 so helpful and very good customer services skills.. cleanliness was top notch, the breakfast was plentiful, the mattress in the bed room was actually one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses I have stayed on and I was thinking we would get a lovely nights rest before our festival but on to the bad points. we had the worst nights sleep of our lives our room was facing the road. Now this road is busy throughout the whole of the night. It is non stop, you can hear every car, every lorry, every motor bike, every horn every engine zooming past all throughout the whole night ! We barely slept a wink !! We was shattered the next day. We told the staff the manager said to go through the app we booked on and we can get 20% back as they would of gave us a free breakfast for our trouble but we had already bought one . The manager and receptionist were so lovely. They do know this is an issue and have been trying to get something implemented from the company to resolve this issue as it’s not just us who have complained about this .. and unfortunately I would not stay here again until the issue is resolved and they got the triple glazing windows to reduce noise otherwise I would much rather book another hotel without the noise issues so I could get a good nights rest ..

Basic room but a good location. We were visiting Allerton Manor so it was convenient and just a short drive. Close to the airport and the retail park facing with lots of shops, restaurants and cinema. There were some issues with a leak on our floor but luckily it wasn’t near our room. The air conditioning didn’t work so we had to open a window. There were two portable heaters in the room too as the air conditioning wasn’t working.

Negative points from our stay I travelled with my 11 year old grandson, I booked us a twin room, which we got. Unfortunately, the room was an adjoining room to a double and the ”activity” noises from the other room were so bad that we checked out at 11pm as I didn't want my grandson to have to experience that. It literally sounded like they were in the room with us. I would perhaps suggest that in the future you look at your guest list and unless adjoining rooms are with the same party, where children are in a twin, look to accommodate the couple in another part of the hotel where possible. I was disappointed that we were expected to pay £5 each to use the pool as I have never stayed at an hotel where it is not included in the room price. Positive All the staff were really friendly and helped as much as they could. The night Duty Manager was especially helpful and empathetic to my room dilemma but was unable to find us an alternative twin room, only a double which was not appropriate for us. We ate in the bar and the food was exceptional although a little pricey. The location was good and the hotel was easy to find. Be careful when you leave as there are two speed bumps on the exit, and no matter how slow you are going, it feels and sounds like your cars insides are dropping out. Rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable.
