Hotel was clean, food was good. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, both hot and cold food. Beds were comfortable. Staff could of been friendlier

Really nice hotel with really good restaurant. All staff members were really amazing, and made my stay really enjoyable.  The only thing they need to sort out the loud noise that comes from the air conditioning in the middle of the night that can’t be stopped from the room. It kept me awake for the most part of my night.

We chose to stay at this hotel because of its convenient location near Stansted Airport, as we had an early flight to catch. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, making it perfect for a good rest before traveling. What stood out was the unique interior and our room was called ”Lisbon”, which was a delightful coincidence since Lisbon was one of our next destinations. Each room is named after a city, which adds a nice touch of character to the hotel. Breakfast was simple but nice, just enough to start the day. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a comfortable and well-located place to stay before flying out from Stansted Airport.

Fabulous location, if you need the airport. But, you have to bus/cab/drive into Southend/Rayleigh/wherever if not wanting the airport. 15min walk to various eateries, if you don't want to eat in the hotel, like Toby Carvery, Hungry Horse, African, fish and chips. Majority of staff seen were happy and chatty, nice to see. 5* breakfast, would definitely recommend as had lots of choice. Room was clean, included bed, desk, chair, armchair, safe, kettle, iron, toiletries, bath&shower.

Me and my daughter had a lovely stay. We slept very well, the bed were very comfortable and pillows and the room was lovely and clean and had everything in there we needed. We were both very happy.  Swimming pool was lovely just needs modernising and floors cleaned as were dirty. However, over all very pleased and love to stay again.

Ideal location. Welcoming and polite check in from members of staff. Didn't get chance to use resteraunt as we were in a hurry for an O2 Arena event. Room was adequate for stay although shower head wouldn't stay in a fixed position, the toilet sprayed water at you when you flushed and it would have been nice to have a bin near kettle to put used tea bags etc in. Checked around the room before leaving the following morning and found dog toys under the bed so obviously not cleaned properly before we arrived.

Lovely hotel in nice grounds. Friendly reception. Decent room (we stayed in the Sartorial rooms) which was spacious. Good breakfast in the main restaurant although continental was a bit limited. Ate in the evenings at the cafe rather than main restaurant and food was good. Also lovely staff. 

We had a good stay although our sleep was disrupted as we could not turn off the air con we tried numerous things numerous times and it would not turn off it was loud and kept us awake. Breakfast was OK although no real vegetarian options such as veggie/vegan sausages etc and had to wait a while for things to be topped up. Restaurant was nice however and staff were friendly.

ตอนแรกเราได้รับห้องที่ไม่มีโซฟาเบด เมื่อฉันอ่านคําอธิบาย ฉันจองห้องที่มีเตียงโซฟา อย่างไรก็ตามผู้หญิงที่อยู่ข้างหน้า - ฉันจําชื่อเธอไม่ได้ แต่ฉันคิดว่ามันเป็นเทรซี่ เธอรองรับมากและย้ายเราไปที่ห้องที่มีเตียงโซฟา อ่างล้างจานถูกปิดกั้นและโทรศัพท์ในห้องเสีย ทั้งโรงแรมล้าสมัยและจําเป็นต้องได้รับการอัพเกรด อาหารเช้าแย่ เมื่อเทียบกับ Holiday Inn Express อื่นๆ ที่เรามีที่โรงแรมนี้จํากัดด้วยรายการและไข่ ฯลฯ ดูเหมือนจะไม่สด เราอยู่ในเมืองเล็ก ๆ แต่ถึงเวลานั้นเมื่อคุณพักที่ฮอลิเดย์อินน์ คุณคาดหวังว่าบางสิ่งบางอย่างจะอยู่ในระเบียบและมาตรฐานบางอย่าง น่าเสียดายที่เรารู้สึกว่าฮอลิเดย์อินน์แห่งนี้ไม่ได้มาตรฐาน

โรงแรมอยู่ใกล้สนามบินมาก แต่โปรดทราบว่ารถรับส่งของโรงแรม 4 ปอนด์ (เกิดอะไรขึ้นกับวันที่บริการนี้ฟรี? 😭) พนักงานเป็นกระเป๋าผสม ฉันถูกเช็คอินโดยคนที่ค่อนข้างเศร้า แต่การเช็คเอาท์นั้นสุภาพและเป็นมิตร ห้องของฉันบอกว่าเตียงคิงไซส์ แต่ฉันไม่รู้ว่าขนาดเตียงในสหราชอาณาจักรแตกต่างกันหรือไม่ แต่มันเหมือนเตียงคู่มากกว่า ห้องพักดูสะอาด แต่ฉันพบผมบางตัวบนผ้าปูที่นอนที่ไม่ใช่ของฉันและหมอนใบหนึ่งของฉันดูสงสัยเล็กน้อย เป็นการพักที่ดีเพียงคืนเดียวเมื่อคุณต้องการอยู่ใกล้สนามบิน มีตัวเลือกมังสวิรัติสําหรับมื้ออาหาร แม้ว่าฉันจะไม่ได้กินที่โรงแรม
