I had a good stay with my girlfriend at The Tytherington. The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. It took about 1 hour to receive our food, and we were also told different information about the Kitchen closure time. Likely, we could give our order on time, but someone who was served after us was not able to. It seemed that on the day we visited, the kitchen staff was either short-staffed or had other issues. The staff behind the counter looked inexperienced, with only 1 or 2 who knew what to do, though they had too much to do already and couldn't assist. The view from their garden was great, over their golf pitch.

ห้องพักของเราอยู่ชั้นสาม หันหน้าไปทางสถานีรถไฟ แต่ไม่มีเสียงรถไฟในตอนกลางคืนเลย มีแต่เสียงรถยนต์มากกว่า! เพดานสูงและหน้าต่างบานใหญ่ทำให้ห้องดูกว้างขวาง :D อยู่หน้าสถานีรถไฟเลย ไม่ต้องมองหาด้วยซ้ำ อย่างไรก็ตาม โทรศัพท์ดูเหมือนจะใช้การไม่ได้ ลองโทรไปที่แผนกต้อนรับแล้วแต่ไม่มีใครรับสาย และเมื่อโทรไปที่รูมเซอร์วิสก็โทรไม่ติด เนื่องจากเป็นอาคารเก่า การระบายอากาศจึงดีเยี่ยมด้วยเครื่องปรับอากาศ ลิฟต์ค่อนข้างเล็กแต่ก็เข้าใจได้เนื่องจากข้อจำกัดของอาคาร โดยรวมแล้วเป็นการเข้าพักที่ดีมาก แต่จะชอบให้โทรศัพท์ใช้งานได้มากกว่า :/

Rooms are extremely light and clean, sturdy beds. On the hotels official website, it states the rooms air air conditioned, however, this is not true. When we asked the guy on reception, he tried to convince me that I’ve read it wrong and tried to make me out as being stupid, but it clearly states the rooms have aircon but only the reception/lobby has air con. The room was very comfortable, could do with having some netting as looks directly into the offices across the way, unless you close the curtains.

Great value to stay! 😄

Good location. Really nice hotel. Self check in available. Swimming pool was great. Breakfast was bit disappointing for this sort of hotel. Just basic English breakfast. No option of fresh vegetables and cheese.

The staff here are all lovely, super helpful and accommodating. Hotel guests can use the spa facilities for free during their stay, something we took full advantage of. It’s a nice hotel to stay in if you’re in the area. Ideally there’d be a little more attention to upkeep- there are cobwebs in some harder to reach spots, we kept being given too few towels, the heater didn’t work, the shower was stiff and hard to turn on, and the batteries in the tv remote needed replacing. All small things that the staff were happy to fix when notified though.

Anniversary away break. Location on edge of Chester close to motorway. Nice grounds, busy carpark and popular venue for parties and business guests. Carpet on second floor dirty and smells. Sink kept blocking because plug holes full of scum. Toilet seat incorrect size and not secured properly. Bed comfortable, nice towels tea and instant coffee and bottles of water in room. Breakfast nice selection BUT no fresh decaffeinated coffee only instant granules yuk!!! Nothing worse than awful coffee!!! With so many decent decaffeinated options available and customers not drinking caffeine this is totally unacceptable.
