Wir hatten Zimmer 410 mit schönem Blick über die Stadt zur Burg und Kirche, mit richtig breitem, bequemem Bett und allem, was man braucht (Safe, Kühlschrank, Föhn, Wasser, Kaffee). Modernes Bad. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es lediglich durch das Frühstück, dessen Auswahl beschränkt und Qualität allenfalls durchschnittlich war (z.B. Kaffee, Rührei, Speck).

What a lovely surprise! I picked this hotel for its location, quick access to the Lisbon airport, but the was delighted with every aspect of this immaculate hotel.
I arrived very early in the day after disembarking a cruise ship. I asked about early check in and was advised it was available for 60 euros. I took a pass on the additional expense and made myself comfy in the lobby. Within an hour or so, I was told my room was ready and I was given a key!
The room was designed very efficiently and was ideal for an overnight stay next to the airport. Everything I needed was designed into this clean room!
After a quick breakfast at the buffet at 5:30 am (included), I packed up and took their free shuttle for a quick ride to the airport.
The staff at reception were lovely, both during check in and check out. Housekeeping made the bed with beautifully pressed linens in “military precision” and I felt very comfortable in this great hotel.
Additionally, this was the first time I used Trip. com to book a hotel room and it was a great experience! Reserving the room months ahead and prepaying worked out well and I got a really excellent room rate! Lots of value for a modest price!

The reception staff were all very friendly and super keen to help! I was super happy that one of them was from Durban, South Africa!! The place is well taken care of and has great amenities! I highly recommend this hostel! It’s close enough to the main attractions.

MMarinaโรงแรมค่อนข้างล้าสมัย แต่ในทําเลที่ยอดเยี่ยม ห้องพักที่ได้รับมอบหมายให้ใช้เป็นเตียงเดี่ยวและไม่ใช่เตียงคู่ มีเสาอยู่ใกล้เตียงที่อันตรายมากในตอนกลางคืนหากคนขึ้นโดยไม่มีแสง .... จัดหาทุกอย่างด้วยเฟอร์นิเจอร์เก่า แต่โรงแรมเป็น สถานที่ที่ดีมากในการทํางานในอาคารด้านหน้า แต่มันก็ไม่มากไปกว่าการรบกวน อาหารเช้ามาตรฐานพร้อมผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ดีอ่างกาแฟอเมริกันที่ไม่เหมือนใครเพียง ... กับพนักงานที่เป็นมิตรแม้ว่าจะปล่อยออกมา

WWariyukiI won’t recommend this apartment though it is only less than 10 mins walk from the Martim Moniz metro station and the city centre.
The apartment is located at the back alley of some old buildings. There were a lot of homeless people and wanderers at both ends of the alleys. The most unacceptable thing was that the alley was stinky with the very bad smell of urine and garbage. Since the apartment is inside the alley that car cannot go inside, even we took Uber, we still need to walk 2-min from either end of the alley to the apartment.
Unfortunately we were assigned with a room on the ground level of the 4-storey apartment. To be exact, the room was slightly below ground level, meaning that we could see the feet of the people walking on the street through the 2 windows of our room. It was also a bit noisy when people talked on the street, parked their bicycle right at the windows of our room. Obviously we couldn’t open our windows or curtains, meaning that it was like staying in a room without windows. We have asked for a change of room. Since we were staying there for 7 nights, we also didn’t mind to change for only a few nights in the middle of the stay, however we were not provided with any option to change our room even though we booked this apartment 4 MONTHS ago (not the last minute customers).
Besides, the sound proofing of the apartment was bad. We could hear everyone talking outside. Since it’s the ground floor unit, there were more people passing by and going up to different floors and in and out the building, all sounds were quite annoying especially during the late night. Among the 7 nights, there were also 2 nights having some sorts of alarm in the mid nights for over 30 minutes. All these issues were very disturbing too.
Adding to it, the bed and pillows of the apartment were too hard and not comfortable to us. We didn’t have any good sleep unfortunately.
Nevertheless the interior of the apartment was fine, spacious and clean. Decoration was modern, daily house-keeping was also fine. There were aircon, washer and dryer, a basic coffee filter machines but not Nespresso coffee machine.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is excellent — very close to the метро station, with many bus routes nearby that make it easy to get to different attractions.
However, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. Housekeeping was quite basic: the staff only made the bed and refilled the water. Coffee supplies and towels were not replaced, the floor was not vacuumed, and overall cleaning felt minimal.
Another issue is noise. Possibly because there is no carpet, sounds travel easily. You can clearly hear people walking or dragging suitcases upstairs, and when the neighboring room closes their door, the vibration can be felt inside the room.
Despite these issues, the hotel has strong points in terms of service, room size, and transportation convenience.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe location was good and the people at the reception were lovely. But, I would say those are really the only positives. First of all, I wouldn’t recommend booking though this site, as it claims to offer the option to pay on checkin, but charges you before. This happens because this website is a 3rd party, they book a room for you through Expedia. They will claim it’s just on hold - spoiler alert, it’s not. But I digress. Back to the hotel, the walls are paper thin, I had the pleasure to be awakened by my neighbours doing the devil’s tango as if they were in my room. The toilet also made weird noises non stop, like water filling in, it was quite annoying too. The cleaning ladies were lovely and really thorough with the cleaning and making sure everything is as clean as can be, however the infrastructure is so old that no matter how much cleaning is done, some things need to be changed (sink full of scratches, toilet full of scratches and with old rust stains in bottom, towels smelling funky sometimes, shower without a detachable handle, no place to put your shower gel, even though there were holes where some sort of holder should be). Long story short, the hotel really needs some renovation because it is called “suites” but feels a lot like my college dorm. Another rather shocking thing for me was that the shower gel/shampoo bottles were refilled, not swapped, which for me feels super unhygienic, specially since they were very tiny bottles (10-15ml). Also, not all outlets were functional, which is rather annoying in 2023. And last, but not least, 25€ per person for an airport transfer? Am I taking a limo? An Uber is 15€ tops in total. In summary, lovely service but the rooms need some TLC. I would book again if the price was as good as this time since the location is really great, but I wouldn’t splurge on it.

ผผู้เข้าพักI booked this hotel cause it a close location to many things around in Lisbon. While it is not a fancy hotel, it serves well for solo travellers and families. The room was very spacious and the AC worked well. The cleaning service came every day and left the room clean and fresh. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was a usual hotel breakfast. You could pick from hot items such as scrambled eggs and meat products like beans and sausage or bacon. On one day they also had mushrooms. Then of course the bread variety and some pastry items such as croissant and muffins. Cheeses, yoghurt and fruits as well cereals were available. Eating breakfast at 10 AM usually filled us up for the day and we hardly ate lunch outside. The staff was friendly and when we requested an iron they provided that with no problem. The room had a small safe for valuables when we left for the day and plenty of storage space for the clothes and suit cases. The bathroom was very nice as well, lots of counter space and even a clothing line across the tub to hang some items to dry if you had to was a shirt or socks. The hotel is located across small soccer practice field so from our balcony we could watch people play some soccer games. Be advised the hotel is very close to the airport (about 10 min) so there was noise from planes but hardly noticeable. During our stay, 2 of the main elevators broke and were not usable but luckily we were on the second floor so taking the stairs was easy but they do have other elevators available. And for anyone not looking to leave the hotel for lunch or dinner, they provide plenty of dishes in their restaurant and bar area. But just a few steps around that area, you will find great places to eat such a Turkish restaurant with a 10 page menu I highly recommend to try.

ผผู้เข้าพักI spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts:
PROS:
- Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport.
- Nice decors and overall pretty clean.
CONS:
- The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room.
- Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.

However the reason why I have rated the stay low Is because the AC kept making really loud noise which was intermittent, the worst was in middle of the night and early morning when trying to sleep. I have sent a video to staff at the hotel but haven’t had any update. The staff knew about the issue as we reported it straight away and they gave us comfort that the noise would go after 10 minutes but what they failed to tell us is that it would come back and it did every so often. I have had really bad sleep as a result and I am extremely dissatisfied with this stay. I will leave a review on trip advisor too to reflect my experience.
