It was a perfect hotel to relax after our trip to Paris. We enjoyed comfortable bed and swimming pool with jacuzzi in it. Breakfast was also high quality. I can recommend this place
Booked a room with one double bed, but at check in given a long narrow room with three single beds along the walls and little space between, at the reception my claims were dismissed quite indifferently.
All the rest about the hotel was OK and even good: central location with comfortable walking distance to the main transport facilities, very tasty sumptious breakfast with friendly staff, good internet and cosy inner courtyard.
Absolutely lovely little room for such an affordable price, the bathroom was gorgeous and was given 2 sets of towels each which was enough for the 5 days we stayed! We arrived quite late on the Monday and did struggle to figure out how to get in for a little while as the doorbell only spoke Polish so we couldn’t understand what it was telling us to do, however we called the number and the woman on the other end was very helpful, told us where to go and then when we were going the wrong way again she came out and found us! Getting into the building from then on was really easy!
The location for travel purposes was absolutely amazing! Trams right outside, and then a train station a 10 minute walk away. There is shops nearby but only a small market and a few zabka’s, but again old town is only a short walk away and again public transport is so great you can get anywhere!
Now a couple of downsides is it is really noisy as the tram lines are right outside the building, so if you’re on an outer room (like we was) the trams go until late and then start again really early so hard getting good sleep but for the price really can’t complain. Last one is we stayed for 5 days and would have appreciated some extra linens for the bed, but again nothing major.
Overall, absolutely brilliant for the price, 10/10 clean which is the main thing for me. Will definitely stay here again if in Krakow! Thank you very much!
SsallyThe positives. The hotel was modern, well positioned from the central square, and the rooms were spotless. The breakfast was good quality with a diverse choice.
The negatives. A member of the cleaning staff walked into my room early morning without knocking. I believe she didn't realise the room was occupied. I was in my underwear in my bed exposed. It caused much embarrassment to me and her. I made a complaint. However, it was brushed aside, and there was no apology. From the staff member at reception. I ordered in food, and when it was delivered by the outside restaurant, it was left to sit at the hotel reception. When I eventually received a call from the desk via my moibile, the meal was cold and ruined. The receptionist claimed she had called my room telephone - she hadn't. Another incident with the cleaning staff, they threw my water bottle away when they cleaned the room. I asked where it was, and they went rifling through the black bags. I was totally shocked that they thought they could put my possession in the garbage.
The staff can be abrupt, Each job sector is very dislocated from the other, so it feels quite cold in the atmosphere of the hotel. If they could address the harmony of the staff, then the place would feel more welcoming.
ผผู้เข้าพักFantastic 4 star Hotel. There was nothing I could fault. The staff are welcoming with a friendly smile and always helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect, straight over the road from the train station and mall. Makes getting to and from the airport effortless. If we ever come back to Kraków we will rebook this hotel.
DDavide17Accoglienza banale, non da 5 stelle. Non ci hanno spiegato nulla di quello che si poteva fare, nemmeno una breve presentazione dell’hotel. Possono fare di meglio, il ristorante è normale e molto caro.
ผผู้เข้าพัก“Bracka 6 “ for me and for my 2 sons was a beautiful please . The old building with a high ceiling, modern furniture and amazing location in the middle of old Krakow were only for one night for us , but with unforgettable emotions. Special many thanks for a receptionist Mrs.Barbara . She helped to decide my problems with a booking and to buy tickets to out next trip . My recommend

*Lovely spacious rooms with nicely refurbished bathrooms.
*The breakfast area looks presentable with a fairly decent selection.
*Bottled water is provided daily, you just have to make sure you hang the sign to request to clean the room.
*Hotel is centrally located right by the square. It’s near grocery stores, restaurants, donut/pastry shops & souvenir shops.
CONS
*The carpets “looked” dirty & old, not very pleasing to look at but they’re not - just gives that impression!
*The main downside for me is the noise. Our room was facing the front which is where pedestrians walk through to the square. Earplugs were supplied by Hotel but they didn’t make a difference. There were loud revellers until 4:30am daily, then once that ends, the delivery trucks & refuse collectors pass through which were just as loud! Needless to say I didn’t get a full night sleep for 4 nights.
Overall, it’s a clean & very reasonably priced hotel. May I also add we are a group that booked 4 rooms. 2 rooms were in the quiet side but the other 2 were in the noisy part. Not all rooms are the same. However, if you can sleep through anything then this wouldn’t be as much of an issue as it was for me.
PPolarmermaidWhat an excellent hotel with a warm historic ambience and lovely staff. I loved the special antique decor and dark wood. Good place to stay if you don’t know where you are as it’s very central-a short walk to the main historic square and a short walk to the modern three-story shopping mall—Galleria Krakova I think it’s called. There are trams right outside. Take them. If you get lost, use the Bolt App and order a taxi.
There are even a few goldfish in the back beer garden with big umbrellas which must be festive in the warmer months.
There’s a lift. My room was spacious with high ceilings. The bed was big and comfy. There was also a sofa, desk, plenty of hanging space, 🧥 fridge
and kettle with coffee/tea options - very handy. The assorted breakfast buffet was divine. So much to choose from: 🍵 , ☕️ 🍊 🍏 🍪 🍳 🥓 🧀 🫕 🥗 🥣 🧁 🥛 🧃
The staff were all very kind and helpful. The in-house masseur gave me a very good massage. The reception staff helped me pronounce Chocholowski which sounds like Hoho Woof Ski so just picture Santa and a dog skiing to get to the spa in the Tatra Mountains. Something for next time. It leaves you with a good feeling to stay here. 🌞🧳🌞
