Staff are helpful and friendly, close to a bus stop, so you can go out for hiking easily. However, if you have a car, it would be more suitable as the village is quite steep, so if you travel by train you it would drain your energy a lot to go to the hotel.
Stayed at the Queen's Head hotel over the weekend due to attending a concert at Buxton Opera House.
We were really well looked after and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean , warm and welcoming.
Whilst there is no on-site parking, there is parking in the market place only a minutes walk away which was easy to access.
Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
ผผู้เข้าพักBreakfast is not really included as such. Only the continental buffet. This is cereal, fruits, cereal bars, baked items and a large selection of cakes, including mince pies, which was odd for breakfast. The hot breakfast requires a surcharge to be paid, something I’ve never experienced before. The full English would be best described as part English breakfast, with no sausages, tomatoes, or mushrooms included which is a bit of an insult when you’re paying a surcharge. I can’t fault the service, or anything else, but this felt a bit naughty to be doing.
