Absolutely perfect stay from start to finish!!! The team, food, room, pool, the grounds - everything was amazing and wonderful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone! We enjoyed the pool and the lovely weather. We had a delicious dinner on one night and a lovely afternoon tea and next day. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Would return tomorrow

We have returned to this hotel for many years but our visit today concerned us. While the food was excellent, the staff did not seem as warm and welcoming and interested as we have known in the past. This matters to us for future visits and it would make all the difference to this beautiful setting. We also had some concerns for the surroundings with windows and mirrors not looking brilliantly clean. Our visit was overall average, but we are use to excellent from this establishment in every aspect.

Beechfield House is one-of-a-kind. We had our day-after wedding party here just a few weeks ago, and we are already planning our next trip! The hotel has so much charm, wonderful rooms, a great pool, and very helpful staff. I cannot recommend working with Rebecca enough -- she was an integral part of our planning and we are so thankful to her and the entire Beechfield House team for their help. If you have a chance to stay here, have a meal or afternoon tea, or even just hang by the pool, we truly recommend you do so!

The waitress was very good. We only wanted coffee and sandwiches, and not the full lunch. The sandwiches were poor. I had ham and mustard , but the ham was very thin sliced and not much flavour. My wife had toasted ciabatta with cheese and pickle , but it was shredded cheese of poor quality, and the ciabatta was not toasted. How can a quality hotel get simple things like sandwiches wrong?

What a beautiful experience! We stayed here as we were attending a wedding nearly. We brought our 2 small dogs and we all had the best time! The staff are wonderful and helpful. The EV charging is so convenient and straight forward. Doggos had a bed and treats waiting for them in the room. Dinner was delicious with quick and efficiency service. The highlight is of course the outdoor pool which we enjoyed on checking in with a glass of wine and also after breakfast with a coffee! The hotel provides robes and towels. Room was fantastic with a fridge and access to the gardens for the dogs. 100% value for money.

We went to Beechfield House today for lunch. The menu was quite limited but we both chose the terrine for a starter and the trout for main. Both courses were nicely presented and really delicious. For dessert I chose the creme brulee with a shortbread biscuit and a strawberry compote. Wow- amazing! We wil definitely be going back.

We had a fabulous stay at the country manor Beechfield House in the Melksham area in Wiltshire UK. It was perfect for relaxing and an easy walk to town along the river. We spent a day in Bath only a half hour away. Because it is a bit away from cafes we appreciated the morning breakfast provided and the dinners and lunches were gourmet and accomodating to our non-meat diet. We stayed in the Apple room--so spacious with a beautiful view of the pool. Daisy the manager/front desk/everything else person was friendly and professional and fun to converse with. The housekeeping staff quickly attended to some special requests we had. The eclectic Art Deco decor and colorful art throughout the public spaces was delightful. Highly recommend!

It's a nice place with some issues. The room we stayed in had quite a small bathroom with no place to put ones toiletry bags, which had to be placed on the floor eventualky. Cleaning was ok but not top notch. Same in the breakfast room. Dust on the velvet chairs (which were pretty) and the floor and staines on the chairs, too. The road passing by in some distance to the hotel was still audible, so to people who are noise sensitive this could be a Problem. Attentive staff but some seemed not trained yet, probably a general issue nowadays. We had dinner in the Restaurant twice which was really excellent. In sum, it's a nice hotel but it didnt work out enough for me to stay again.

Afternoon tea with my husband and son. It was wonderful. We’d asked for extra sandwiches and so glad we did. They were scrumptious! The scones and pastries were absolutely perfect. Congrats to the pastry chef. The tea menu has a wide selection. Nice touch. Can’t leave without mentioning how beautiful the grounds were. Very impressive as you come to the main entrance. Thank you.
