We had an amazing experience staying in the amazing Chateau de Varambon. Countess Boissieu and host Thibaud were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was authentic and delicious. The chateau and its surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful.

Le château est magnifique tout comme le parc. et les châtelains sont extrêmement gentils, disponibles et attentionnés. Nous avons passé lors d’ une occasion exceptionnelle un merveilleux séjour. Et nous remercions de nouveau nos hôtes via ce commentaire.

Une première pour nous de choisir un hébergement dans un château. Et nous devons admettre que cela a un charme certain de se retrouver dans un château familial.Ce n est pas un coin étoile par 'à prestation, mais l expérience a le mérite d être vecue. On se retrouve plongé dans le passé, au milieu des meubles, bibelots, livres(magnifique bibliothèque !) ainsi qu une magnifique chapelle. Il est impensable aujourd'hui de se retrouver dans un endroit où on ne ferme pas les portes à clés, mais ici, c est naturel et nous l avons vécu sans inquiétude aucune. La literie est très confortable, les lits fait à l ancienne, avec draps, couverture et couvre lit, et de vrais oreillers à l ancienne. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le parc et la piscine. La demeure est magnifique. Les points négatifs : puisque le château ne propose qu'une fois par semaine la table d hôtes, il est assez difficile de trouver un restaurant près du château. En semaine, tous les restaurants sont fermés en soirée et l on doit parcourir nombres de kms afin de pouvoir se restaurer. Peut-être que les propriétaires du château auraient ils intérêt à proposer la table d hôtes du lundi au jeudi soir. Mais c est une très belle expérience que nous renouvelerons très certainement, car c est vraiment un moment agréable et atypique que nous avons vécus.
