Nukkad Guest House

I had a lovely stay! The owners are very nice people. The rooms are clean, as are the bathrooms. The location is just perfect, everything can be done on foot! Very good value for money. I also took part in the yoga and cookery classes! Super good meal cooked with the ***ager and her husband 😊 great time sharing. I recommend it with my eyes closed!

Fabulous..The best feel at home experience that I've had in a long time..Has a family atmosphere with 2 terraces that have a marvellous lake view & temples All around with very positive vibes.They provide yoga & cooking classes as services too which is rare. The best part is that if you had to book your stay here..every place that you visit will be at a walking distance..I'd give Nukkad a 7 star..

You heard lots of NOISE DIRTY pillow covers and the blankets smells bad! My room near kitchen and at 5:30 A.M families start cooking 🍳 and frying food and all smokes come to our room, even we can’t breathe! There was no Electric Kettle in side room! Breakfast is only egg with burned bread 🍞

The location is perfect and there were lovely views of the lake from the terrace and room (we had lake view room). Be aware that if you book lake view room, there are quite a few stairs but they did help us with our bags upon request so not really a problem. They also provided us with a laundry service which was very good. The family who run the guest house were friendly and breakfast in the morning was nice and cheap. They were also very helpful to share a map and recommendations of what we could do in Udaipur. Cons: No soap was provided to wash hands in bathroom so used our own.

very nice and hardworking hosts, for Indian standards very clean / well maintained accommodation, great central location (all major attractions within walking distance), very safe, large bed, really quiet. great value for money! and thanks Monty you recommend great hotel in Jaisalmer Hotel deep Mahal is fantastic the staff Johnny is very helpful the organize amazing camel safari into the deep desert excellent service

Very beautiful and cosy place. This lovely family runs their business for 6 generations already!! Perfect location and the hospitality was great. Very clean. We did a Indian cooking class in the place and it was awesome. 100% recommended!!

This is one of my favourite guesthouses in the world - have been staying here since 2006! And the reason why it’s so lovely is the Puri family who run the place. They’re super friendly and helpful. And the location is perfect too. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a home rather than a hotel, I recommend Nukkad. (Also try Kala’s cooking class - she’s amazing)

A very pleasant friendly family run traditional haveli. Very authentic. Spectacular view from the roof. Close to the ghats and sights of the old town. Raju and his daughter Rashmi are welcoming hosts..
