I didn’t received VIP Service, they didn’t know anything about it, even though they had room available.
They gave us a room with smell a mold, I couldn’t sleep because of the allergy. They offer me a deshumidificador but it was so strong that it didn’t work. Since we arrived the fact that they didn’t gave us VIP rooms it disappointed me.
The personal in general is good.
Be careful if you go to the swimming pool where the wet bar is, it is slippery. I did fall.

I loved the multi-resort access that came along with our booking. The staff is incredible, and their attention to detail was a high point during the stay. I also really enjoyed the various dining options. Overall I highly recommend this resort!

The Staff was amazing. The alcoholic drinks were average at best. The adults only pool and buildings were excellent. The entertainment at the the adults only pool was fun and enjoyable. The AC in our room did not work correctly the first night of our stay; however, we notified the guest rep and it was fixed immediately. the ale cart restaurants were fantastic. We will definitely stay at the Akumal Adults only again in the future.

The food options were better in the coba hotel. There’s barely any staff in the buffets, it takes forever to receive a drink. The hotel could do better with the towel washing; towels look dirty, probably time to change them. The beach is amazing.

I really enjoyed the resort in terms of staff and facilities and cleanliness. My only thing is people tend to be quite selfish and would put their towels or whatever on a chair to claim it even if they don't use it for majority of the day.

Dining reservations were difficult to make. In fact if it wasn’t for Abel’s help, we would not have been able to dine at Tortuga. Tortuga was our favourite restaurant. We were not able to get a reservation for Tepenyaki.
Our room was amazing and always clean.

It was a nice stay, not a fan of the beaches more like crushed coral and rocks, buffet food was a nice variety the la carte restaurants were ok. Overall nice stay, nothing to write home about tho I'm sure there is more "luxury" out there.
