The Mews were great. Good size, warm and clean. We enjoyed a family get together enabled by the separate spaces the hotel layout provides. Food was good along with the service

Had a delightful overnight stay - a birthday reat for my husband. Attractive room, very comfortable bed and good sized ensuite. Will definitely visit this hotel again

Didn’t like the shower as it only had a rainwater shower which is no good if you don’t want to wash your hair.
En suite very small.
Girl at booking in on reception not very friendly but rest of staff were lovely. Had dinner and it was lovely but breakfast very average.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Piersland House. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a clean, comfortable and large room on the second floor with a sea view (just!). Staff were welcoming, friendly and polite. The food was excellent - the hot breakfasts were very well prepared, and there was a reasonable selection of cereals, fruit and pastries. We had two dinners there: a good selection of dishes to choose from and all of them beautifully prepared and presented, and delicious. A word of warning - Troon doesn't seem to have many restaurants so all the locals go to this hotel, so it can get busy - you need to book a table. The staff were rushing around but were attentive and we enjoyed our meals. Lovely garden at the front, plenty of parking, and a short walk from the beach. I can highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay. I could not fault the staff , they were all polite, helpful and very professional. The dinner meal and service was also excellent.
