Very nice and friendly staff. Great location, clean and nice rooms with historical look. Simple breakfast.

Spacious rooms on split level Coffee machine and a kettle Speaking comfy bed with quality sheets and towels Choice of waterfall,rain or hand held shower Rooms are all on 2nd floor of old palace looking over harbour to Trani cathedral Very central location but peaceful at night Breakfast served near bedrooms in separate room off season on roof terrace high season. Option to take a tray back to room if desired

Fantastic building and location but hugely disappointing hotel. Despite so much potential, it the dark and gloom throughout was matched by the atmosphere and attitude of staff. We were even reprimanded for opening blinds in the corridor leading to our room to let some sunlight in so we could safely traverse the multiple tiled steps. Our junior suite (216 euros) had no view of the street or city, as promised, but a blank wall. There was a kettle but no tea or coffee and no drinking glasses, just cheap disposable plastic beakers. Worse was the lack of WiFi. First the wind was blamed, but then other staff (probably being too honest) confirmed there had never been a connection in that part of the building. Despite knowing this, the hotel continues to advertise Free Wifi in all rooms. Breakfast, held on the terrace despite a cold wind blowing (staff wore black leather gloves to try and keep warm), was uninspiring for a prestigious hotel. When we sought to sit in the sun we were told that wasn’t allowed and were forced to sit, freezing, in the shade. All these shortcomings, and the prevailing culture, could be improved by good management.

First class hotel with a fantastic view looking down on the port and the 11th century cathedral in the distance. Ask for a room with a seaview. totally worth it. Very good staff and an excellent breakfast. Trani is really worth staying g for a couple of nights. Special place

This hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Trani with everything within walking distance. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and the bathrooms perfect. The hotel is built into an old regal home so the layout is peculiar but this removes nothing from the experience of an excellent hotel. It is in a pedestrian zone so parking has to be paid for as is common in central Italian hotels. There is a beach club available but this is also with a fee - another common Italian feature. Good simple breakfast. I would definitely return.

Old Manor house converted into a hotel. Nice rooms - particularly the bathrooms and beds. They charge for parking which you need to book - was not clear on the site I booked through, but they very kindly found a spot anyhow. Extensive choices of local pastries at breakfast.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo albergo con tutta la famiglia in tutto eravamo 13... La struttura è molto bella gli affacci sulla piazza vista mare sono fantastici i bagni enormi. Sicuramente da rivedere la colazione scarna e con prodotti mediocri... peccato perché vista la struttura mi aspettavo ben altro.

Stanza matrimoniale (uso singola) con vista su piazza/porto: strepitosa. Pulitissima e curata. Frigobar molto povero. Anticamera, camera e bagno tutto perfetto. Tra l'altro ho curiosato nei numerosi corridoi: luci soffuse, ambienti profumati (no profumi invadenti), belli arredi, sembra di passeggiare nei corridoi di una spa. La mia personale media viene abbassata dalla colazione: abbondante ma qualità normale, niente di memorabile. Mi è rimasta invece impressa la gentilezza del personale, tutti gentilissimi, sorridenti e disponibilissimi. Una volta in reception c'era un signore che andando via (non so se stesse smontando o se fosse il proprietario) ha messo pressione alla ragazza che stava prendendomi la chiave, l'ha quasi rimproverata, e uscendo insieme a me mi ha detto "Scusi ma si devono abituare". Abituare a cosa non ho capito, perché la ragazza ci aveva messo cinque secondi a trovare la mia chiave e darmela mentre mi restituiva il documento, mi chiedeva come stesse andando il mio soggiorno e mi sorrideva. Bravissima e gentilissima. Ci tornerò sicuramente, anche perché devo rivedere Att. Vabbe', cose nostre. Ciao
