I had a facial and massage with Jess who was fantastic. She was super friendly and made sure that I enjoyed the experience throughout. She asked lots of questions to make sure she knew what I wanted and kept me informed of the process throughout. I also wanted to mention Olivia. Olivia was super attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was a good one. Everyone that we met was always working hard to ensure the guests were having a good time. We were greeted by the lovely Charlotte, who also went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good time. Thank you very much for such a pleasant day.

I arrived today for a lovely spa break, which isn’t cheap. I have heard about this hotel since I was young - growing up in the area - so to come was a massive treat. The barman was absolutely miserable, would not give me a wine menu when I asked, the telly has basic channels - which for a hotel of this price surprised me. The spa is shabby, the pool was freezing. I assumed that given the price and the fact it was sold to me as a ‘handpicked hotel’ that it would be more upmarket.

Overly expensive for a superior room Although the drinks in the mini fridge and drinks trolley was included in that price The spa wasn’t all that, the pool I could walk in even at the deep end. The sauna and spa was ok but does shut fairly early evening which wasn’t great considering we didn’t get to the hotel til 7pm The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was really comfortable We had our breakfast brought up to the room which I’m sure the staff either had to go slaughter the animal or got lost along the way as it took quite some time to arrive and upon arrival there was missing items and wasn’t all that either. Wouldnt stay here again

Me and my mum went to the spa today and it was an absolutely delightful experience from the moment we stepped through the door. The lovely lady on reception, Erin could not have been more attentive and helpful, aswell as the fabulous ladies who did our trea**ents and afternoon tea. Overall it was an utterly relaxing day and we will definitely be returning.

Currently sitting round the pool as I write this. Firstly the hotel and the service is excellent. However, came to the pool to have a relaxing few hours, read my book and go in the jacuzzi etc. However, for the past hour there has been screaming kids in the pool. Jumping and splashing everywhere. This is not acceptable for what is meant to be a relaxing environment and what has cost me and my girlfriend all in what will be £500 for one night when you add on the room service. That family should not be allowed in here. It should be adults only. They can go to the local council pool. The worst part was that the parents couldn’t care less about the racket and mess their kids were making. They belong in a bin.

Me and my partner came to Nutfield for the afternoon tea (did not stay over in the hotel) and I genuinely can’t say enough how incredible everything looked and tasted! So worth the cost (which is very reasonable for a good afternoon tea). The views from the dining area were also beautiful. It was a lovely afternoon and I really appreciated the effort the team went to to provide me with a delicious tea suiting my dietary requirements (veggie and dairy-free). My partner had the normal version and both were perfect!

This is our third stay at Nutfield, well I say our, myself and 14 year old Poppy Labrador! We booked direct with the hotel, being regular visitors to the HandPicked collection, one of the only hotel businesses I can find that treat the dog as a human, we get the room of choice by going direct, the general manager Richard oversaw our reservation perfectly, we were not disappointed. Beautiful suite with far reaching views over countryside towards Gatwick, the hardy suite has dual aspect floor tall windows, making it light & airy, plenty of room for human and Labrador too, with excellent easy chairs and dining table. We were treated very well over our 3 nights, dining in the bar and Alfresco on the terrace, mother & daughter team Kelly & Niamh in the restaurant & bar could not do enough for us, we felt very welcome. The weather was excellent, I made use of the spa on 2 occasions, having 2 trea**ents which were very relaxing in good quality trea**ent rooms and relaxation space, the pool and spa pool are fine but could do with a bit of an facilities upgrade, the shallow gradient of the pool is annoying to swim lengths and the spa pool is pretty basic for 2023, but nevertheless very clean and tidy. So another super visit and of course we will return.

We just had our 25th Wedding Anniversary meal at The Cloisters Restaurant and it was exceptional in every way! Abdul was a wonderful host, the service was brilliant and the food was fantastic! We had the Chef's Experience Menu which was 8 delicious courses and we would both thoroughly recommend! The portion sizes were excellent and we came away feeling very full but not over-stuffed and uncomfortable! It was a special evening and we had a really wonderful time!

We booked Nutfield for a mid week break to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel building itself is just stunning. Whilst being incredibly old it is kept in immaculate condition by the Nutfield team. The team are just lovely. Friendly, welcoming and unobtrusive. They couldn’t do enough for us. The food and drinks were delicious, and carefully prepared. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable and quiet. The grounds and views across the Surrey hills is also pretty spectacular! Strongly recommended! And if you are able to go mid-week when there may be fewer guests, you’ll feel like lord and lady of the manor!
