Támara de Campos is a little rural village of about 300, but has a commanding view of the countryside, cathedral and Romanesque churches, fortified gates and walls and delightful local produce. People are really hospitable and this hotel it's bang in the middle of it. Great facilities, charming bar and restaurant serving local food and drink and above all fabulous customer service and very reasonable price. We will be back!

What a find! So much more than the usual quick overnight motorway motel. Still equally accessible - but traditional Spain at its best. Wonderfully authentic with added bonus of very reasonable, excellent restaurant as well. Lovely village for little explore/morning run with majesty of church and views. Fantastic host with excellent English. Ideal stopover either going to/coming from the ferries at Santander or Bilbao. Don't miss out!

Ya habíamos estado hace 9 años, nosotros solos. Volvimos con nuestra hija. La única pega que la habitación y el baño se nos hizo un poco pequeña para 3, para dos, estaría perfecta. La comida y el desayuno fenomenal y el tapeo en el bar de abajo, encantador. El trato de Anabel y Nagore, inmejorable. Incluso la señora de la casa nos hizo un pase privado explicándonos el origen de la decoración.

Es un hotel-restaurante-bar pequeño con un poco más de 10 habitaciones en la que en la planta de abajo se encuentra la cocina del restaurante que se encuentra en la misma plaza del pueblo en frente de la Iglesia catedralicia de San Hipólito el Real. Lo bueno que tiene y la diferencia es que es un hotel-restaurante con unas pocas mesas divididas y separadas en cada una de las estancias/salas pequeñas de la antigua casa (super chulas). La cocina es extraordinaria, nosotros picamos algo en la bodega que era donde se encontraba la propia gente del pueblo, por cierto muy amables. Tienen una variedad muy ampliada de raciones (buenísimas las rabas) y luego tienen un menú del día muy elaborado por 32 €. La atención con la que te tratan es la gran diferencia, es la cercanía y el trato en el que te convierten en algo más, es cuando pasas la frontera de viajero a amigo, eso es lo diferente la hospitalidad que en estos tiempos ya no se trabaja.

Fuimos en familia a pasar un fin de semana sin más expectativas que salir de Madrid y buscar tranquilidad... y lo que descubrimos fue un hotel rural, una atención y un entorno fuera de lo común, sencillamente extraordinario. Por muchos detalles empezando por el trato dispensado, cercano, orientado a servir, a hacernos sentirnos como en casa en todo momento tanto por Anabel, como por Nagore así con el resto del equipazo que trabajan en el Hotel rural, pasando por la gastronomía, a qué plato más exquisito, o por el entorno, auténtica joya histórico-cultural encabezada por la iglesia de San Hipólito... a la altura de algunas catedrales. Toda la comarca respira tranquilidad y serenidad castellana y de enorme valor cultural. De 10 y fijo que repetiremos.

Preciosa la casa y la localización. Los paseos por el pueblo y alrededores son un disfrute, está todo muy cuidado. Las comidas y desayunos del hotel inmejorables. La atención de 10. Volveremos seguro.

Fuimos a comer un domingo el menú del día. La variedad es grande, la calidad es excelente y la relación calidad-precio insuperable. Muy recomendable para comer o para dormir en un entorno maravilloso.
