Amazing experience! Very nice hotel, beautiful relaxing spa, nice swimming pool, perfect breakfast. We definitely will be back next time.

Ottima posizione per visitare la città. Struttura perfetta per la famiglia anche con sala giochi per bimbi, colazione con buffet molto vario e sempre ben presentato. Piscine molto varie ma freschine. Stanza pulita con qualche piccolo dettaglio da aggiustare.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days in mid-December, looking to enjoy a weekend with my family. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the old town and easily accessible to public transportation. For those who prefer exploring on foot, practically everything is within walking distance. To facilitate the evaluation, I have divided it into various themes. Staff: The service was notably attentive and efficient. The staff was quick to resolve any issues, providing a seamless experience. I have no negative comments regarding the service. Decoration and Rooms: The hotel has a simple, modern, and welcoming decor in all common areas. However, the rooms, while functional, were small with limited storage space. The furniture seemed worn, suggesting a need for renovation. Spa: The Spa was a pleasant surprise, featuring an excellent pool, above-average changing rooms, and other facilities, including slides ideal for families. Breakfast: Breakfast was very good, offering excellent variety and options. The only improvement suggestion would be to diversify the bread options. The breakfast area is beautifully decorated, providing spectacular views outside. Cleanliness: Unfortunately, room cleanliness was disappointing. Common areas were excellent, but the room lacked attention. There were days when cleaning was clearly insufficient, with poorly made beds and a lack of attention to detail. The lack of dish replacement or washing, along with water left in the kettle from previous guests, was disappointing. While there was a slight improvement in cleaning on one day, the overall experience fell below expectations. Summary: In summary, the hotel is good, with an excellent location and quality breakfast. Unlimited access to the Spa and gym makes it an attractive option for families, especially those with children. However, there is room for significant improvement in room service, particularly regarding cleanliness and furniture and decor renovation.

Everything was very nice, spa was nice, room was nice and clean. Only downside is that 20€ for the +18 spa&sauna.

We booked two rooms at the Kalev Spa hotel for 2 nights in May 2024. The location is superb, but unfortunately that is the only nice thing about this hotel (apart from their breakfast offering, which was decent). Dirtyness was our main problem: I found several long hairs in my bathrobe (made me wonder if these were even washed) and the other room had a clump of hair in the shower. The childrens' playroom on the first floor was extremely dirty: the floor was full of crumbs and the toys were covered in a layer of dirt and many toys were broken. This was at 9 in the morning and there were no other people there so they probably just don't clean it. The baby cot we ordered to the room had stains all over the fabric. Staff politeness was the other big issue: The receptionist at our arrival was quite rude (his name was Kristjan). The servers at breakfast did not speak Estonian or even English. There was a sign at breakfast asking to wait to be seated. When we asked the servers where we could sit, they did not understand the question. Other issues: They provide bathrobes in the rooms but no slippers - they charge 6 euros for slippers at the reception. Ridiculous, so we walked barefoot from the room to the spa and back. The pillows were probably the worst we have ever had in a hotel - absolutely no structure and neck pain in the morning.
