Our house is one of the most unique homes in Sunriver. Hidden from the street in the quiet north end of the resort, it is located on the Woodlands Golf Course and features rare views of Mt Bachelor from the back deck. Fort Rock Park is only a short distance away. Enjoy a beautiful walk or bike ride along the network of Sunriver bike trails and end up at the river, the trail north to Benham Falls, the Mall, or the Deschutes River. Approach the main house along a dramatic 70-foot breezeway that connects with a wrap-around deck. Inside you will find new hardwood floors, new carpet in the bedrooms, and fresh paint throughout. The large wood-burning fireplace features a striking brick fireplace, the outside portion of which can be viewed through an 8-foot skylight set into the vaulted ceiling. Firewood is provided. The main house is kept cool in the summer with central A/C. The separate studio apartment stays comfortably cool at night in the mountain air. There is room for everyone to gather and enjoy each other in the central living area of the main house and also enjoy some privacy in the separated bedrooms. The central living area is surrounded by huge walls of windows and sliding glass doors that open onto expansive decks overlooking the golf course, pond and mountains beyond. The main floor of this 2-story house features an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining area and sunken living room. Also downstairs are a King Master and a separate wing with a Queen Bedroom, a 4-bed Bunkroom perfect for kids, and a shared bathroom. A new washer and dryer are located in a hallway closet of this wing. Up a sweeping staircase is the King Master Loft, a unique "open bedroom suite" that overlooks the living area. Because it isn’t entirely enclosed it may not be the best choice for light sleepers, however its spacious design and lovely bathroom make it the most coveted sleeping area in the house. Across the beautiful covered breezeway is a detached studio guesthouse with a queen bed, kitchenette and private bathroom. We are happy to provide you with cable TV, HBO, and a Roku box for your viewing pleasure. Board games can be found in the living room cupboards and there are a variety of books for you to enjoy during your stay. You might find yourself spending most of your time on the expansive decks and grassy lawns that surround the house and are ideal for enjoying the fresh mountain air in Sunriver. A 6-8 person, private, hot tub and a gas BBQ are both located on the deck overlooking the beautiful views. A badminton set is in the garage and there is plenty of room to play on the front or back lawns.The kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances and all of the dishes, utensils and tools you will need to prepare your perfect vacation meals. A portable crib and portable high chair are kept in the home for families with small children. A double garage is attached to the guest studio and contains 9 adult bikes, 3 kids bikes, and a 2-child bike trailer for you to enjoy on your adventures. Helmets and a bike pump are provided. There is a basketball hoop in the driveway. A Level 2 EV destination charger for your electric car is located in the garage so you can be ready to explore after charging up overnight. Be sure to bring the cord for your vehicle as this charger is just the outlet! We offer a dog friendly home with a nominal pet fee of $10/day per dog. If your group has more than two dogs we are happy to negotiate a reasonable fee. Please let us know if you are bringing pets when you book. We ask that you keep your pups off the bedding and furniture and not leave them at the house alone unless they are crated/kenneled. Dog "booties" are provided for your furry friends, to protect the new wood floors. We hope you will give them a try. Your rental comes with 10 Recreation Plus passes to the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic and Recreation Center, so you and your family can enjoy a variety of activities during your stay. Please note that the SHARC facility was intermittently closed due to Covid19 and is operating with limited hours and capacities during the pandemic. When you start to get hungry, the well-equipped kitchen offers a full suite of appliances, lots of cabinets and counter space, and all the gadgets you need to whip up a feast, including two electric griddles for those homemade pancakes in the morning.Eat together at the adjacent table for ten, or step back out onto the deck, which features two picnic tables for alfresco dining.
