We couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our quick vacation in Stockholm this April 2024. Motel L is stylish, reasonably priced and conveniently located. Upon entering the hotel, we were impressed by the contemporary design of the lobby and the carpeted floors. Our check in experience was a breeze. At 15 sqm, our room was on the small side but it was never lacking in style – there were two comfortable Carpe Diem beds and a rainshower in the bathroom. The soundproofing was also excellent affording us two restful nights.
The location is unbeatable – there’s a coffeeshop (Espresso House) and a supermarket (ICA Supermarket) right next door. And the Martensdal tram station is just literally outside the hotel, like less than 50 steps away. It usually took us 20-30 minutes to get to T-Centralen.
We were very pleased with Motel L and would never hesitate to come back here. Also worth mentioning are the warm and friendly staff. Shout out to May who really charmed us with her personality during our stay!

The hotel is comfy with every thing you need. You can grab some tea and coffee and the lobby. There’s no metro station nearby but you could go to the metro through the train on the ground, but it might be not operational at times.

Room was small but quite comfortable. Heated floor in the bathroom was a plus! Location very convenient for public transport! Strong wi-fi.
Downsides were no kettle for the rooms - hot water for tea was never hot enough in the lobby, and it would've been nice to brew it in my room. Tv channels were basic. Breakfast was okay - not enough hot items.
